Good product
The egg cooker works great. The cooker not only cooks the eggs to my liking, but the best part is they are easy to peel.

The easiest way to boil eggs
This product is awsome. I can’t believe how perfect the eggs are after 12 minutes they are ready. This is a must have for truck drivers trying to save money and cook in your truck.

great egg cooker
Love this egg cooker and I appreciate that it helps the eggs taste natural and not burnt or over cooked. It is super compact which helps with storage in a smaller kitchen. the instructions are basic and it does seem very versatile. the boiling quality is very good and i jsut find this little machine powerful and important for consistent eggs.

Compact and cooks perfectly every single time.
This unit is fabulous and I use it often with perfect results. I have to use 25% more water as I live at very high altitude, but whether you want medium or hard-boiled eggs, or even perfect soft boiled eggs, this unit never fails to do its function. It's also simple to clean, although I have only ever cooked eggs in it (so far). For the money this unit is an absolute steal.

Piercing the shells for hard boiled eggs might be an issue.
Been looking at these small appliance egg cookers for quite awhile. My husband and I have been doing Keto/Carnivore for 8 months now and we need to have hard-boiled eggs handy (easy protein) for when we get hungry, instead of resorting to a piece of fruit, or cheese, or worse! We are older and the weight loss is slower and an egg seem to help better with hunger (as do avocados). I looked at many little egg cooker brands, different sizes, different functions, and after reading all the reviews I chose this one. The Elite Gourmet EGC724SS. it arrived quickly and intact. Read through all the instructions, tips, trouble shooting, etc… twice. Also liked the recipe section… several recipes and all very basic... mostly familiar to me, and all in one place. Handy. I like that there is a poaching tray; we’d love Poached Eggs on Toast, or an Eggs Benedict. I’ve never mastered the poached technique with the swirl of boiling water, and I never got around to trying the Soup Ladle Method. I already do hard-boiled on the stove (and some great cheesy scrambled eggs in a frying pan). This seemed more convenient to me, and less babysitting while the hard-boiled eggs cook. The FIRST time I tried this egg cooker, I used 7 Organic, Pasture Raised eggs. I took them out of the fridge, gave them a brief rinse (instructions say to wet them to make peeling easier) and then I poked holes in the smaller pointier end like the instructions indicated. I thought this odd because the air bubble is usually in the bigger end. I added the right amount of water for hard boiled eggs to the heating plate. Sat the eggs in the egg tray with the pointy (hole) end up. Then I set the timer. At the end of the cooking time, all seven eggs erupted some of the egg white through the tiny pierced hole. Not a lot, but enough to make a mess (clean up was easy). They were still edible and intact (and pretty much cooked perfectly), just missing a bit of the white. One erupted more, but that was my fault because I have never pierced an egg before this and I was a bit rough with it (it cracked the end a little). Now I know to gently twist the piercer back and forth while pushing it in so not to crack the egg. The trouble shooting part of the instructions said if any of the eggs erupted, to pierce the big end the next time (that makes more sense to me). So that is exactly what I did with the SECOND set of 7 eggs the next day. And they were fine. No eruptions. And also perfectly cooked. Yolks were just past the medium stage into hard, and no green around them. I did put them in cold water (both times) immediately after the alarm went off. Cold tap water was cold enough. Used silicone tipped tongs to transfer them to the cold water. What my husband and I did notice, is that not only is there no green around the egg yolks and there was no strong eggy sulfur smell while they were cooking, nor lingering in the kitchen after, nor stinking up the fridge later. I know the green has to do with the sulphur that is naturally in the eggs, so maybe the hole in the end releases it better? I have not yet tried the poacher tray, or the omelet tray. Really looking forward to trying poached. YES, I would recommend this egg cooker for hard-boiled eggs. UPDATE: Here we are about a week and a half later (11/24) and an observation about the Hard-Boiled Eggs specifically. I have never pierced my eggshells before when I hard-boiled my eggs in a pot of water on the stove. I don't know if steaming them (which is pretty much what we are doing here with this little cooker) causes more pressure to build up inside the eggshell, as opposed to them being immersed in boiling water which equalizes the pressure from the outside of the shell? Anyway, when I cool the pierced eggs in an ice water bath after they are done cooking (as per the instructions), water seeps into the eggshells through the hole and fills the area where there was once an "air bubble" (and yes, the eggs were still within their expiration date as printed on the egg carton). This isn't a problem if I am using the eggs right after I cool them... but I am not comfortable sticking them in the fridge with water inside the shell and storing them that way until they are used up (within a few days). Why? Because they actually froze the first time I used this cooker to make eggs for the fridge, and when I went to peel a couple of them the next day after they had been in the fridge overnight, the small amount of water that had seeped into the eggshells had frozen solid as did the hard-boiled eggs themselves. Yes, the fridge was at 40°f as it should be, and nothing else in the fridge was frozen. No matter what shelf I put them on, the hard-boiled eggs did not thaw out. All I could think of was maybe I have to place the 7 egg holder rack in the sink and put the cooled eggs back on the rack (with the hole facing down) for a few minutes so the water from the cooling bath could drain back out? This just doesn't seem right to me, and I am not willing to try them in the cooker without piercing the shells. Anyone else experience this? Or tried hard-boiling them without piercing the shells? I am not willing to repeat this to see if it happens again because eggs are certainly not cheap these days where we live. So my conclusion is... that this little cooker is great for making hard-boiled eggs that are to be used within a short time after cooking (like making a couple of egg salad sandwiches or a few deviled eggs), but not for storing them in the fridge to be eaten over the course of a few days. I will continue to hard-boil a dozen at a time on the stove for that purpose. I also took away one star because that WAS the reason I purchased this little egg cooker: for hard-boiled fridge eggs... and also thought about having FRESH hard-boiled eggs while traveling (hotels). it's the shell piercing aspect that has become an issue.

My new favorite kitchen item!
This egg cooker appealed to me because it's annoying to wait around for the water to boil, when using a pot of water. My husband usually teases me for items that I purchase, but he was pleasantly surprised with how well the eggs turned out. It's so much faster to prepare the eggs, and then put a timer on for how long the directions state. For a full tray of eggs, I think the time is 17 minutes, if you want hard boiled eggs (there is no timer on the egg cooker, but that is fine with me). The best part is, the shells were soooo easy to peel off! I will definitely be bringing this egg cooker with me, when I go on trips.

It is an excellent product, very practical and with good value for money.
The retro mint design is beautiful and gives a special touch to the kitchen. It is also compact and does not take up much space, which is appreciated. It works fast and does exactly what it promises. After using it several times, it is very easy to find the perfect cooking point.

Eggsiteing Product that is a must for egg eaters.
Just received this and read the instructions, and tried it with 3 eggs. It made hard-boiled eggs perfectly. I don't need to try to figure out how to make hard-boiled eggs in a pot anymore. I totally recommend this product for anyone who eats eggs. It was easy to use. I can't wait to try the other ways to make eggs. I'm very happy with this purchase. Eggs were easy to peel after being done.
