I like these for meal prep, but use caution
These small bowls are really nice for meal prep, especially when the dish has several small quantities of herbs, spices, oils, etc. They make it easy to pre-measure and just add ingredients as you go. Because they are glass, they make it easy to "eyeball" quantities and they clean up easily and don't stain or retain odors. One slight word of caution. Though the description says they are chip and impact resistant they are not indestructible. I had one fall out of a cabinet the other day and it shattered into what seemed like a thousand tiny pieces. It took several passes with a broom and a vacuum to get all of them off of my counter and kitchen floor. They are not like the Duralex glassware I been using for years which breaks into larger chunks if it breaks at all. There were some very tiny shards that would be very difficult to see and remove from a foot or a finger. I will be much more careful with them in the future.

small glass sauce dishes
I have to admit when these arrived a few days early I was happy - until I picked up the box and heard glass clanking... NEVER a good sign. The packing was horrible... and one of the small bowls had broken free from it's cardboard packaging and was bouncing against all the other open edges of bowls. I am pleased to report that not a single one was broken, chipped or cracked. Now - who knows how long they'd been clanking around against each other.. but these come from outside the United State - so my guess is that it had been loose for some time due the lack luster mail packaging.. That says to me these are some incredibly tough little bowls! They are clear ..eyeballing it they would comfortably hold about 3 tablespoons of something without overflowing the bowl. As tough as these little gems seem to be - I would suggest they do a MUCH better job packing - especially internationally! I am very pleased with these so far - however, I never hesitate to update my reviews should new info seem useful.

Perfect size - truly a 'pinch' bowl
These are perfect. Exactly what I was looking for. I wanted tiny bowls for seasonings like they do on those recipe videos and such. The last ones I ordered were bigger and 2 of the 4 were broken. These are the perfect size (about the size of the circle my thumb and index finger make when I touch them) and they were packaged very well to avoid breakage during transit. I will be getting more for sure. Thanks!

Substantial 9-inch bowls, perfect for large salads!
Loving these 9" bowls! Purchased in addition to the 6" version, and I'm absolutely thrilled. While some may consider them way too large, to me the 9" is perfect for dinner-sized salads, and the 6" is great for cereal, fruit, pasta. Now, don't get me wrong, neither is filled anywhere close to the brim - that's the whole point, giving food space, and enjoying the substantial vessel in which it's served. My ambivalent teenagers even commented that these were "nice", which is about the highest praise on something as trivial as a bowl.Unrelated to the bowls themselves, the 6" set came meticulously packaged in several layers of thick bubble wrap, they would have survived the egg drop test. The 9" on the other hand - single layer of the flimsiest bubble wrap and the set was loose in the shipping box, sliding side to side as I picked it up - it's a miracle they made it, must be the good quality glass!

Love These Little Bowls
Cute little bowls! I used to use very small silicon bowls but found that they were so lightweight they tipped over at the slightest touch. These bowls are heavier & don't tip over. I used these bowls & measure out different seasonings prior to starting to cook, makes things go so much faster & smoother. You can even measure out what you need into each little bowl & then stack them on top of each other if you are short on counter space. I use them almost everyday. These do not seem like they will easily break. I have similar larger bowls (holds about a cup) I also use when prepping for dinner for ingredients like chopped onions, celery, etc., have had them for years & not one of them has a chip so I expect these will hold up just as well. Highly recommend.

pretty much perfect
I'm stingy with 5-stars and feel that they are only warranted if a product is virtually perfect AND a good price. These are obliviously only bowls (not real complicated..) but shape, size, quality and price are all excellent. They get used daily

Very nice bowls, but really awful packaging
I really like these bowls. They're exactly what I was hoping for. They're a very nice size for soup, cereal, or pasta. They're also virtually identical to the corresponding-sized bowl in a nested set of glass bowls that I already own, which was exactly what I wanted. So as for the bowls themselves, I am very pleased. Had one of the six not arrived shattered, I would have given them five stars.Unfortunately, the packaging was totally inadequate. Take a look at the attached pictures. The box was more than twice as long as the stack of bowls was wide, the bubble-wrap bag over the stack had the little bubbles instead of the big ones, and there was no extra cushioning on the bottom or top of the stack. Also, the air pillows on the side of the stack were not enough to fill up the extra space in the box. Frankly, I'm surprised that only one was broken.I called Amazon Customer Service, and true to form, they gave me the choice of several options to make it right. We settled on a one-sixth refund, which I thought was a perfectly fair resolution -- especially considering that this product was shipped by Sere, not Amazon, so the inadequate packaging was not Amazon's doing. They still made it right. So in summary, I like the bowls and I do recommend them for other people who like glass dinnerware. But if you order them, open and inspect the package as soon as you receive it, and be careful that there's no broken glass in there.

Just what I was looking for
I have been trying to find some more of these since my local kitchen shop stopped stocking them in this size. They are identical in design to the Arcoroc ones I already had in all but the manufacturer's name embossed on the base, and they stack perfectly with them.I'm perplexed to see some people expressing surprise at how small they are - they are exactly as described - 3" / 76mm in diameter and 2oz / 50ml capacity to the brim. They are smooth on the inside and have a ridge on the exterior at the top to make them stack neatly.A perfect size for individual servings of dips and sauces, as well as their obvious principal use in the kitchen for measuring out small quantities of ingredients for recipe prep. The cardboard sleeve that the manufacturer packs them in was slipped inside a snug fitting bubble wrap bag before being packed in the cardboard shipping envelope, so they were well protected in transit.

Doubled 900g sourdough reaches the top exactly
This 23cm Duralex Lys bowl is the perfect bowl for sourdough, especially if you are a fan of the sourdough whisperer/Foodbod method and master recipe. This is, in fact, the exact bowl she uses. The Master Loaf will reach the top of the bowl exactly and be slightly domed once doubled. If the recipe is halved, it will reach the second set of double lines and be domed. This bowl is sturdy, nice and wide so easy to get your hands in and stretch the dough. Made from tempered glass, it's durable and resistant to chips and cracks. It's stackable as well. Apparently there is a lid available for it, but I have not seen it.It holds 1.5 litres of water or a 900gram dough recipe, doubled.

Perfect little bowls
Only needed two little bowls to replace an old shattered one. Used for olives, pickles, nuts, dips, snacks.Even used to poach an egg. Very durable and adaptable. Used for a small diet friendly pudding/dessert such as fruit and yoghurt

I'm probably being harsh by giving only three stars. The bowls are exactly what I wanted them to be.Unfortunately some clown in 'packaging' thought it wouldbe a good idea to put glass bowls at the bottom of a boxwithout any protection. The bowls arrived in a big boxwith loads of paper twists on top but nothing below thebowls and two (surprisingly it wasn't more) were broken.Buy them and you will be lucky to get four out of the six.
