Crown Sporting Goods 3/4-Inch Extra Thick Yoga Mat with No Stick Ridge

This yoga mat is fabulous....I am just getting into yoga at home plus I have a lot of back and joint issues and am doing physical therapy exercises per my chiropractor. I gives me so much support and I can comfortably do all my moves. I ordered the black as that was the only available - it's more of a dark gray. Mat is a large size - width and length (I'm 5'3" and have a ton of room to stretch out) and comes with a very nice carrying strap. It came with no odor, but it air out and straighten a bit as it was curled some from being rolled and shipped. I just received it yesterday so I can attest to the durability. Very pleased. Shipping took six day to New Jersey. Not bad considering all the shipping delays due to COVID19.

This yoga mat is really comfortable. I have chronic lower back problems and use this mat daily for back stretching. The thickness of the mat ensures that none of my vertebrae will come near the floor (I am a relatively heavy man who can not use the flimsy thin mats). The texture of the surface makes it better to grip my feet when doing standing stretches. The mat is easy to roll up and comes with a black band that easily secures the rolled up mat. My daughter loves this mat for the purpose of napping. We occasionally pull up two yoga mats and have movie time before our naps. Heck, this mat is so comfortable I have even taken some naps on it. I highly recommend this mat.

I bought this for my best friend who is ill and extremely thin. Yoga helps with his pain. His other mat was thinner material and the wood floor underneath, hurt his bony body. He loves this mat! He does yoga and stretching and even naps on it if the sun is coming through a window. It is twice the thickness of a regular mat and is very dense yet velevety smooth and cushioning to the weighted areas of your body. This would make a wonderful camping mat for under a sleeping bag. There is absolutely **no odor** to this mat. It comes packaged in a thick mil clear plastic wrapper. We are very happy with this purchase.

Good mat. Very thick and big. If you leave anything sitting on it tho it will leave indents. My free weights all have left marks

Durable and easy on the knees! Had a bit of a smell but overnight on the back porch unrolled fixed it. I am new to yoga and really enjoy having softer surfaces for my knees and hands.

I purchased this specifically for when I do situps. I have all hardwood floors and, well, situps hurt my rear! This pad is nice and thick and works perfectly for my purpose. IlI've also laid it out to use as a mat for when I color on the floor with my son. It protects our elbows, knees, and tummies nicely while we color. I can't speak to yoga use since I don't do yoga, but for situps it's great!

Love love love this yoga mat! I've hurt my knees through the years of doing various martial arts, jogging and extreme weight fluctuations. This mat is perfect for warmups and cool downs. It's thick enough that you don't feel like you're on the floor when you're doing yoga and it feels nice on your back when you're stretching your body after a grueling workout. For any exercise where you're on your knees like modified pushups, I use this ma with SISYAMA Yoga Exercise Workout Knee Pad Cushion w/Sling 20"x10"x15mm Thick Mat (Black) for extra support.

This is a great mat, nice and thick, soft, durable and good value. The only issue is that it came with a distinct odor which took a long, long time to finally stop. It took at least a year! It was like a plastic type smell, not really offensive, more of an annoying smell that you can tolerate while using the mat. If you are sensitive to smells, then you may wish to avoid this item.

Just what I wanted! I do a lot of mat exercises at home, and my old exercise mat always left me in pain because it was too thin. My knees, hands, and tailbone were always in pain because there wasn't enough cushion to support the bony areas of my body. This mat is awesome for working out on. If you are looking for a mat that will support you while you stand on it, this might have a little too much give to be sturdy enough for that. But for my needs, this provides the thickness that I am looking for!

This is a very thick mat, which is what I needed. It suits my needs perfectly. I am a senior, and I have found I now need extra padding. This foam is firm, and gives a great surface for yoga and stretching, while still protecting my knees, elbows, etc.
