Good all around diet. I've been feeding this food for my parrots many years.

I've been feeding my parrots Roudybush formulated food to my birds since 1988 and all have been in excellent health. It's 95% of their daily diet with occasional treats given. When my long-term online supplier announced that they'd be shutting down their store last winter I started to panic! It was a company that always delivered on time and with decent prices. Never once in over ten years did an order get lost or was incorrectly filled. Amazon wasn't on my mind as a possible supply source so I was pleasantly surprised when a search showed me exactly what i needed/wanted. This stuff may not be the most appetizing but for a pet bird that doesn't require high levels of caloric intake to maintain a health weight this is the formula that's recommended and it simply works.

My parrots are picky eaters. I mix this in with their daily fruits & vegetables, and I was amazed to see that they actually will eat it. It helps me to know they’re getting a more rounded diet! I recommend this product!💞🐅

My cockatoo and macaw have always been on Zupreem pellets but they waste a lot of food. I decided to give Roudybush but was hesitant. To my surprise they have loved it and there is very little waste.

This is always fresh, and my birdbrains eat more of this than other pellets. What they discard, I throw to the feral chickens who are not so picky, and they think Manna fell from the heavens

My bird (Orange winged Amazon) gets a 50/50 mix of roudybush and a variety of vegetables or fruits. Often he chooses to eat the roudybush first as this is his favorite food. It was not difficult to get our bird to eat this diet, however he has never been overly choosy about foods and generally accepts new foods after a few days of having it included in his bowl amongst other, more familiar, foods.I would recommend this diet and I would also recommed that it be supplemented with a more varied diet which adds excitement, randomness, and nutrition to your birds diet. Often we will pair it with a source of vitamin A such as raw carrots, pumpkin, or sweet potato as roudybush alone tends to have a sligh insufficiency for our birds vitamin A needs (says the Avian vet, not me).Buying it in large quantities is the only way to go... it is very expensive in small bags so we simply buy the larger bag and portion it out in 1 gallon freezer bags. This saves a lot of cash.
