The projector is actually reasonably ok, works well in the brightly lit room too! Obviously it much better in a dark room. It has lots of connectivity and isn't as heavy as it look. The huge downside is that you CANNOT turn off the built in speaker we without have an on-screen mute icon permanently showing in the top left hand corner.If you turn down the volume to Zero, this turns off both the on board speaker AND audio coming out of the 3.5mm port. Wtf?! Why does the onboard built in speaker not turn off when something is plugged into the 3.5mm port?! I've seen much cheaper projectors do this!!Such a huge disappointment as I loved everything else about this speaker. I'd there's some kind of future firmware bug to address this terrible 'feature' I may consider buying another one. For no I guess I need to return it as it's unusable with a decent set of external apeakers!!Why would I want to continue to hear the baseless tinny built in audio alongside real speakers and a sub woofer?! I mean seriously... This passed QA???_______________Update - 09/02/2018The customer service team have done a great job in looking into this audio issue. Initially I was told there was a no solution but the team have found a way to TEMPORARILY disable the built-in speaker which is better than before. The steps they gave me incase they are of use to other users:* Plug in your sound bar/Speakers into the 3.5mm output* Turn down the volume to Zero, the projector's built in Speaker and the External Soundbar / speakers will go silent* Press "Menu" button on projector remote, find "Restore Factory Setting" and reset the projector.When the projector resets sound will come out of what ever is plugged into the 3.5mm output and the built in speaker will be turned off with no mute icon showing in the top right hand corner.This method does not work for content played via a USB Flash drive plugged into a USB Port, but works fine for AV and HDMI content. It's a real shame this has to be done everytime the projector is turned on, I am not leaving it on all day whilst not in use!I do hope a future firmware update is released to fix this issue.

Big plastic case.CHEAP materials hard to focus or only in the middle and the cooling fans are extremely loud

I find the picture quality great for gaming and movies, as with most projectors room has to be pretty dark for a decent picture. The fans are quite loud and the projector is massive but that isnt a problem for me. onboard sound quality isnt great but i expected this and run it through an old hifi. the remote, It isnt very forgiving on where it is pointed. For me the negatives are on completely minor things, i wanted it for putting a big image on my wall and it does this fine. Only had it a few weeks so cant comment on reliability but if it lasts 50000 hours as stated i will be very happy.

Use this for work for power point presentations, great projector. Only negative is could use a carry case or bag to make more portable. Otherwise all good. Make sure you push power cable right in as far as possible.

Had to return this for a couple of reasons.When you rotated the lense to focus it felt cheap and sloppy it didn't feel like it was actually connected to anything.It was the same sloppy feeling you got from the power supply. Because this projector was to be mounted on the ceiling I tested the unit on a table projecting on to the wall.It worked for a couple of minutes until I nudged the power lead and it powered down.When I actually got it working again I put some batteries in the remote witch I had to supply myself witch is disgraceful in my opinionWhen I turned the volume up it turned my radio on and my led lights started flashing so back it went

Fantastic Product, and exactly as described. I have this set up in my office, and the projection easily fills the whole back wall with excellent clarity. I have occasionally used the projector without closing the curtains, and this still gives a very clear image. Yes, the fans are quite noisy, but this is only to be expected, and does not take away from the enjoyment. Would definitely recommend.

Great projector. Needed a bit of thought to get the best out of it. Straight out of the box faces were too red but changing color setting to from normal to cool sorted that. Then the speakers were ok if used in a small space but if used with an audience lacked power. However there is a 3.5mm socket for speakers - so a few pounds solved that. Very pleased.
