Big fan of this rake -- made prepping the yard for sod extremely easy.We had two totes of compost delivered along two pallets of sod to renovate our backyard after installing a new swingset. First we tilled the ground with a medium sized electric tiller. Then we wheelbarrowed compost around the yard into little piles. Last, we used this rake to level and mix the fluffed soil and compost in a 10sqft area before unrolling the fresh sod.The results were excellent. The new grass grew so quickly that it had to be cut within the first 10 days. It rooted extremely quickly. So this was not an issue. Best of all, it's not lumpy and the rake held up with no wear despite heavy use.

Actually 100% stainless steel! Tested with a strong magnet and the ground grate, the bolts, the handle, everything is stainless and probably 300 series, 304 or 316 based on the very weak magnetic pull. Excellent quality build and nice long handle in 3 sections and the middle section could be left out if you wanted shorter. The only design improvement needed is the weld at the handle tube to grid base pivot. You will see several photos from others where this weld broke. It is a very thin weld because it is between tubing and the flat surface. I will improve by filling the inside of this part of the handle with JB weld to epoxy the entire base inside the tube instead of just the tubing contact ring. All the edges are either rounded or not sharp. Very happy.

Sturdy well made rake with a long curved adjustable handle for good leverage.Made my lawn renovation easier for evenly spreading /leveling the top soil and top coating of peat moss for reseeding my lawn.Decently priced.

Works well, it would be nice to have clips to hold the tubing in place during storage.

Very easy to assemble and is very sturdy. Is a bit long and difficult to store unless you pull it all apart. Not a big deal.

I assembled this sturdy thing in virtually seconds, as they provide stainless hardware and two wrenches. I weight 140 and am very physical for a 1952 normally-aspirated geezer landscaper, so the 30" model was just right for LEVELING top dirt. Use a landscape rake for initial spreading of material. The stout base plate that does the leveling works like a charm to get almost a putting green finish. I use a wide landscape broom to get it to perfection, then starter fertilizer, seed and straw and bazzinga..baby grass begins to rejoice in a few days. Would recommend to others.

Took a week to receive after I ordered it but the quality is worth it. High quality construction. Quick assembly. Came with a set of garden shears (not the highest quality but the gesture is great) and a set of gloves. Was able to assemble the entire unit in less than 5 minutes and I was leveling yards quickly. Very sturdy with adjustable length push rod and comforatble handle. Good value for the price.
