Great product - awful instructions.
The product appears good, but the instructions are awful. We tried to unwrap it carefully, so we could learn how to put it away again, but it popped out the bag like a jack-in-the-box. After trying to follow the instructions for a frustratingly long time, my daughter and I had to resort to youtube to work out how to put it away again. The instructions are misleading and suggest pushing the corners together and this doesn't work!!! You need to push the net on the sides to make it collapse again- check youtube!! Simple when you know what to do. My advise would be to practice this before you leave for your travels. The net is good quality and the pop-up sides are strong and effective. I think it will do the job - I will update when my daughter returns after her 5 months of travelling.

Dome Cover
Well, it kept mosquitos out and survived a sand storm! The dome shaped head space provided quite a bit of amusement for my West African friends, who laughed at me inside this dome shaped structure as we slept out on mattresses under the stars. I think this was designed to fit around a conventional bed and therefore I struggled, trying to keep the corners down and keep myself covered as I shuffled about trying to get comfy in the night. I think I was very lucky: there weren't many mosquitos and it was low season for them, I'm honestly not sure how effective this would be given an onslaught of hungry mosquitos in high season? However, the net is impregnated with anti-mosquito stuff, and whilst I loathe wearing deet on my body myself (read up on deet and what it is and does!), it is very handy to have a mosquito net laden with mosquito repellent and therefore a thumbs up so far from me...will be back later for a review in high season!!

Great idea, was happy until I tried to get it back into the packet. Despite watching instruction videos with my partner we could not get it back to the original compressed shape. Ended up buying a box style net instead, which was fine for use on a lower bunk bed.

Practical and adaptable.
fits into my rucksack (cabin size) I use the pop-up me with a silk liner, the dome section for head and upper chest is good and I don't mind the lower body section bring loosely draped. The combination of silk liner and mesh with insect repellent has worked and no bites. I can hear the mosquitoes buzzing in the dark but I feel safe. Getting in and out is straightforward. I just roll over and free up the netting that was under my body and roll back and slide out.

I've felt like I might accidentally break it doing this - but ...
I travel a lot in the tropics, and have for years lugged a hanging net around with me which I rarely used - when I needed it I was always either too tired to work out how to hang it, or in 'executive' places (that often do not provide nets - I guess mosquitos have an inferiority complex that keeps them away) the owners would be devastated if I destroyed the walls installing my own hooks. I've found this pop-up net indispensable and have used it frequently. Admittedly, it should only be used tucked into a single bed, but I find it ok to tuck it underneath my sleeping bag liner and pillow (certainly more effective than no net at all). It's fairly bulky but actually doesn't weigh any more than a mid-price double hanging net. I would say it's about the size of a large dinner plate when packed down. Packing down is slightly stressful as you have to twist the pop-up frame down (like a pop-up tent), and a couple of times when rushing, I've felt like I might accidentally break it doing this - but so far so good. Really sturdy net fabric - would be hard to rip. Much easier to get in and out of than a big net tucked into the entire mattress. Obviously must be used in conjunction with other bite prevention strategies. Overall extremely happy with it and it comes everywhere with me.

Best for sleeping bag or ground use IMO
Bought to fit over a single bed, it didn't really give enough coverage down the sides. Probably best for a sleeping bag type application, nicely made though but regretfully had to return

Came quick, and works well, but no support at legs (despite being shown on some photos of this product)
Item came quickly and is good! Note, there is no support at the bottom to keep it from your legs though so mosquitoes can bite straight through if it is resting on your legs without a sheet ontop of you! The head bit is great though as there is ample space around my face! I dropped a star as some photos of this product I have seen show a support at the legs, which it does not have
