Good!
It was a sweet, steamy and angsty brothers bestfriend sports romance. Since the last book it was obvious that there was something cooking between Blair & Camden but the biggest issue of their relationship was Blair's brother Knox. Blair was such a confident girl and had her own ambitions but the one that topped her list was to get the one guy she has a crush on to finally notice her and trust me, Cam noticed her all right. I just didn't like the way they had to keep their relationship a secret but still the stolen moments were pretty good. This book was truly fun, I enjoyed how Cam & Blair flirted all the time and eventually gave in to the temptation. Though I wish Cam was not so scared of Knox finding out. Still I enjoyed reading the book and the last few chapters were adorable. It was a 3.5 star read for me.

I was excited to read this book knowing what to expect after finishing the first book and Monica did not disappoint. It's yet another sweet read filled with emotions.Cam, Blair perfectly fit together and they are meant to be. I fell for both of them and was enjoying every moment. I loved Cam's resistance and Blair's conviction. There chemistry is sizzling and I was lost in them.I could not put the book aside even for a moment and finished it in a single sitting. It's too easy to love all the characters and connect to them. Yet another beautiful read by Monica.

PLAYING BY THE RULES By Monica MurphyCamden Fields is the star quarterback of our college football team.Heās the man all the women on campus rave about. And while heās had a few casual hookups over the years, itās never anything serious. Cam doesnāt do anything serious. He also doesnāt do me.See, Iām his best friendās little sister, and whenever weāre around each other, heās always warning me that Iām off limits. That nothing can ever happen between us.But I see the way he looks at me when he thinks Iām not watching. The heat in his gaze. The hunger. He can deny it, but that man wants me.I want him too.šWhat i liked -ā Brother's Best Friend/Sports Romance/Forbidden Romance,ā It was hilarious and H*t reading about Cam denying his attraction to Blaire. (though there were times i felt bad too)ā I loved Blaire's character. She was vulnerable but yet went after what she wanted.ā I loved their chemistry. It was pure slow burn torture,ā I laughed when Knox totally threw them off. Loved all the side characters too in this.ā This book has tons of drama, cute jealous moments, many hilarious moments, slow burn angst and a big happy ending.š¤What could have been better -ā There were times in the book I wanted to whack Cam on the back of his head.šWho Should read :š¶BeginnersšRomance LoversšBrother's Best Friend Lover'sšSports Romance Lover'sšMy Rating : 4/5Thank You, Monica Murphy and Valentine PR, for a copy.

Wonderful University Romance
I would highly recommend this book to everyone who loves to read a sweet and passionate, University romance. I completely loved the supporting characters even more in this book. Perfection šCam - He's completely Loyal as much as he's a player. I'm so glad he opened up to Knox who's the brother of his love. He is Extraordinary in everything he does and someone who looks solace in Blair. She's everything he needs and only one thing was stopping from claiming her. That is her brother and I was flying high when he told everything about their secret relationship to him.Blair - A lovely soul who's not a party freak but still goes for party to meet Cam. She's excellent with her decision and she made sure that Can accepts his feelings to her. What will I say about their chemistry? It's so damn freaking cute š„ŗ and the sweet texts they exchange made my heart melt. She'll always be his Bumblebee and his B.āBecause I want to marry you, Bumblebee.āThis line gave a lot of butterflies š

Playing by the Rules
Best friendās little sister is a subject that has been done so many times already.Blair and Camās characters were more complex and likeable but their story seemed rushed, using sex to fill in the gaps.

QB1 has met his match and she just so happens to be his best friendās sister.
I had high expectations for this book because I felt the stage was set a little too heavily in Playing Hard to Get. And Iām happy to report - Cam and Blair did not disappoint.Ultimately, knowing how much of Cam and Blairās story happened behind the scenes Knox and JoJoās story in Playing Hard to Get makes a lot more sense now.I can tell you one thing, I was not prepared for how complex Camden Fields was. On the outside he looks calm, steady, and sure, but deep down heās broken, lost, and struggling to feel worthy. Enter Blair Maguire.Blair has loved Camden Fields since she met him for the first time her senior year of high school. But because of the fact Cam is her brotherās best friend, heās never looked at her as anything outside of his best friendās littler sister.New to Colorado State, Blair has her sites set in Cam and sheās not going down without a fight. She makes it crystal clear to Cam where she stands and what she wants: him.Can struggles with his feelings. He wants her to but struggles with his loyalty to Knox and his self worth of being good enough for her. He grew up in a broken family. Heās never been in a relationship. He doesnāt think he has what it takes to make her happy. Finally tensions boil over, and the two of them give into the undeniable chemistry between the two of them. Blair desperately doesnāt want to be Camās dirty little secret and Cam isnāt ready to take the next step. Blair ultimately walks away, telling Cam to figure it out or sheās going to have to move on. And from that point on this book is down šš¼ right šš¼ addictive šš¼.I loved so much of this book! The beginning was a little bit too much back and forth and hot and cold for me, even though it makes sense why it was like they at the time, but let me tell you all the end makes up for it in spades. I loved the mental health representation in this book. I loved how Blairās faith in Cam never wavered, even when she has every right for it to.But my favorite part of this book was probably Chapter 36, when Cam tells Knox. We learned early on in Playing Hard to Get what an overprotective a-hole Knox can be when it comes to his sister. But I called it then that it was all talk. If someone like I donāt know his best friend walked in and loved his sister, would Knox really throw a fit about it? My guess was no he wouldnāt and when push finally came to shove thatās exactly how Knox reactedā¦.and I loved it.A major reason why Cam didnāt take the next step with Blair was out of fear of how Knox would react. And I absolutely LOVED Knoxās reaction. Iām always down for a good brotherās best friend trope, but how the brother/best friend reacts usually is a make or break it for me and Knoxās reaction was perfection. Heās such a good brother and best friend. I love that heās happy for the two of them. He doesnāt stand in their way, or throw a fit, or threaten Cam. He loves his best friend, he loves his sister and heās happy they love each other. I loved it. Iām so glad Knox pulled thru and reacted just how I expected he would when finding out this information. And the proclaiming of love on national TV, be still my heart š„¹ how freaking sweet?!Cam and Blair were written in the stars from the word go regardless if Cam could see it or not. Going along this painfully beautiful journey with them was quite the bumpy ride at times, but the ending was simply beautiful.Cannot wait to read sassy little Ruby Maguireās story next. I knew from the second we met Ace that he was likely going to play the lead in Rubyās love story. And Iām not sure if sweet, charismatic Ace is ready for Hurricane Ruby, but Iām sure excited to watch that all play out. šGreat second book in this series. If youāve read Playing Hard to Get and havenāt read this book, I highly recommend you take the plunge! Iāll be the first to admit, I was leery, but it makes you appreciate both love stories so much more!

Cam and blair are adorable. I thought the brothers best friend trope was very well executed and I liked that it wasnāt to focused on her child self loving him and that she had a whole life before the spark kind of rekindled. Cam annoyed me with his excuses but in the ned I loved that he worked on himself and addressed his own insecurities which were holding him back instead of blaming Knox. Also loved him declaring his love to Blair on national television that was a power move and I am excited to hear about where he gets drafted in rubys book. Blair I loved as well because even tho she gave him probably one to many chances she held her own and spoke her mind in the end she was not going to be played with and thatās what lead him to working on himself to earn her and Knox being accepting of it was even better im glad we didnāt get the blow up fight between cam and Knox I think those are not fun and stupid a brother should be happy for their sister.

āYou look sexy wearing my number,ā
3.5*I enjoyed Cam and Blairās story. Little bit of secret relationship with her older brotherās best friend. Itās slow burn-ish, but also not if that makes sense. The tension and banter between these two is hot from the start, and they hook up so the slow burn gets the āishā tag. The hero has some mental road blocks when it comes to this relationship/his life and while I understand that was the point and plot of his character, it was hard to read eventually and thatās why this one didnāt get a full 4 for me. It was just hard to read as it goes on for awhile and I just felt bad for the heroine, who was understanding, but I was mad in her honor. All in all a good read though if you want slow-burn with that dash of hidden relationship anticipation and angst.Excited for the next book. I feel like Ace and Ruby have the potential to be explosive.
