Bought for a friend (86) who is having difficulty now with putting on socks/tights. I was concerned when she said she was finding it so difficult she was leaving socks on for a few days, until her cleaner came at the weekend. Since I moved away I generally see her a few times a year, and hadn't realised how difficult she was finding such simple daily tasks. The best was that there are videos of similar items on Youtube so she was able to watch a couple with me until she understood exactly how it would work when it arrived. A good gift for elderly relatives or friends, gives back some dignity.

This is a really good aid for those of us getting a bit stiff and having problems with taking off/putting on socks-it is simple to use and does not impose on space-its easy to store and was purchased at a very decent price -some similar models/products can cost a lot more-it arrived within the specified delivery schedule-so this was also a bonus.

The package arrived fairly quick. But the package was all crumbled, the long stick was very flimsy and almost broke! Asked for replacement and the package was the same! (Damaged) Other than that it was OK....

No clear instructions, had to go by picture instructions which were not clear as they were on the outside of the box which was battered. Anyone with pain in hands or deformities in hands would find putting this together very difficult. Very sturdy which is good but contributes to difficulty in erecting and dismantling.You need to be able to lift your foot and push it into the aid and working out how to put a sock on to it is another difficulty. I doubt this has been tested by any genuinely disabled person. No logo on actual aid as in the picture on box to indicate it is a genuine "sock slider" Best I can say about this product is , it is sturdy and if you can put it together and work out how to use it, it does the job.

Despite the claims from other reviewers as to being unhelpful! I have considerable problems reaching down to my feet and find this device extremely useful. Other reviewers have stated it being difficult to construct - there are only four pieces - how complicated can that be? It does work as claimed my only criticism is that the T-bar used to pull the foot piece is a tad short for my particular problem of not being able to bend my legs or my back. However, despite that drawback the device does still enable me to put on socks without too much trouble. I would thoroughly recommend this simple device to anyone with similar problems.

Not happy with this product it came with no instructions and box had been torn in places but outside packaging was ok so I know it wasn't the courier the item inside was ok but because the box was all smashed up I'm now unable to give it to my mum for a present.....not impressed.

I brought this for my son has he's got back Trouble & he couldn't bend to put is socks on now using this he's got his independence back & he takes everywhere he goes working out of town
