Muay Thai Training Sparring Gloves

The best gloves for Muay Thai! I have them in 10 and 160oz.

I am a 55 year old guy that has a 14 year son that was interested in Muay Thai lessons and i decided to join him. This was in May of 2023 and we have been doing about four classes a week plus one private session a week. Not sure how interested we would be by the end of summer so I bought Sanabul gloves for us as they had good reviews and a decent price. Now it is August and we are really invested in the sport. I lost 15 pounds over the summer and decided if we are going to continue it is time to up our gear. He wanted a pair of Venum Elite gloves and I decided to follow my instructor's recommendation and bought the Twins gloves. Ordered on Amazon for the quick delivery and customer service as i have heard nightmares about ordering them direct from Thailand. When they got here I compared them with my Sanabuls. The Twins a bit sleeker and the hand compartment is much tighter, especially with my wraps on. I expect them to loosen up a bit once broken in but it is not a really a big deal since my hands are on the small side. For big guys it may be more of an issue. In a month I will follow up with the break in process and any other findings I feel worth mentioning. So far I am glad I got them.

Twins Special is the top quality Muay Thai brand. Better than Fairtex. Better than Boon. Better than Primo. Better than Windy. The only reason you can buy Twins here in the USA is because two absolute douchenozzles in L.A. took the name Twins and the lawsuit between them and the original guys from Thailand has been dragged on for the last ten years. If you want good quality gear at a decent price, you can’t go past Twins Special.

Tight gloves at first, you need to break them in. Seems legit to me, I like them for mma/training.

I have been trying so hard to get Twins gloves, but its impossible in the US due to their trademark issues. Hesitantly, got these, but I can confirm these are LEGIT! The hand compartment is snug and you might have to use the gloves a few times to break it in, but after that, these are amazing amazing for sparring!!

Okay I'm re doing My bad review because at first these gloves were super tight and my knuckles are being bruised but after a lot of use I do have to say they are some of my favorites. Now the wrist strap is too big and basically you need somebody to help you get those on tight. But other than that I do love these gloves.
