Doesn't choke, stays on well
Have bodyboarded with this for over a month to include yellow flag beach days. The clasp feel secure, and the hat doesn't choke, even when I'm in the wash. It withstands duck dives well too, and actually keeps the waves from slapping my face at times. On easy days, I can go without my contacts and use Croakies to secure my prescription sunglasses to the hat. The mesh near the ears prevents water from splashing in. Love this hat!

Works well in all waves
If you surf you need to protect your eyes and scalp from the sun. These help a LOT and I wish I'd bought them decades ago. Not only do they protect from sun but they keep a bit of the spray out of my eyes while tube riding or paddling into a wave with strong offshore winds, as was the case in Waikiki this month. I also wear my hat under my hooded wetsuit here in cold California. My only complaint is that they are a little dorky looking, with the flat brim, and I feel this hat would look cooler with a more rounded one.

Finally—A Hat That Stays On While Jet Skiing!
I’ve lost more hats than I can count while riding Jet Skis—until I found this one. This hat has been an absolute game-changer. It fits great, looks good, and most importantly, it stays on thanks to the built-in strap. I’ve taken it out multiple times at high speeds, and it hasn’t budged once. If you’re into water sports and tired of chasing your hats across the water, this is the one. Highly recommend!

looks a bit goofy but worth it over getting sunburned out there
comfortable, well made, works, if you are surfing or boogie boarding for long periods of time definetly get a hat like this one or the Gilligan island ones, whichever rocks your boat more. But if you like this style better, this is a great buy

Broke out of the packaging!
What’s to say, I opened the Amazon packaging, went to try it on, and it breaks first try. Stay away, the manufacturer and the seller knows this is an issue and are selling them anyways. Shameful.
