These are fantastic!
Oh man I love this bits! They work so well and they can be used a good while. I use these for mortar and I never have any issue putting anchors in. These have been a life saver. I cant count how many times I have actually used them other than me saying run into mortar at least 1 time a day in my line of work and I have used these bits for about 6 months now and they are still going strong. Definitely would recommend!

Strong carbide tips and a great variety.
This 12-piece masonry drill bit set was exactly what I needed at a low price point for drilling into concrete and brick walls. The industrial strength carbide tips are functional for tough materials, and the variety of sizes from 1/8 to 1/2 inch is more than adequate for most home projects. Iโm giving it 4 stars because while they work well, the hex shank can slip slightly in some quick-change chucks under heavy loadโbut for the cost, this was a good choice.

Have a CUP OF WATER handy.
I needed some bits to drill through some porcelain tile. I was installing a glass shower door and decided after reading the reviews to try these. Most of these bits have bad reviews from them melting...so I decided to try something. I had a cup of water next to me while I was drilling. I would drill about a third of my hole and dip the bit in the water...steam would rise. It took a little longer, but now I have the bit for another day. You can't just blast right through tile or concrete with these and expect them to last. I was able to drill 9 holes in very hard tile...and with my little cup of water cooling the bit ever so often...the one I used in the photo is ready for the next job.

This is what works if you need easy going work. You won't need to try again.
Tried using the wrong drill bits to drill through mortar but quickly found out I had to work harder to do what should have been an easy task. Once I got these, wow!! These made the difference cutting straight through in one shot. The right tool for the job and breeze right through the first time you try.

Bought it to drill couple of holes on the concrete driveway; it did the job but the bit is wearing out. Ok for light duty work.
