I love the easy remote control and the brightness settings. But...the lights have been coming on randomly after I turn them off. I found an on/off switch (a little button that is hard to see) on the electric plug and I think it is sensitive so don't let it lean against anything. I will update later if that is in fact the solution. Yes, that was the solution to random off/on lights. I pressed the button on the back of electrical plug and it will control the lights on and then low, medium, high and then off. Make sure the plug is laying on its side and do not let anything touch the on/off push button. It is very sensitive.

These lights work great. I left them out all winter and they still worked. No moisture got into any the bulbs. I love the look and they are bright. They can also be dimmed and set to a timer. I will be purchasing a new string because I think my landscapers accidentally cut the line and unfortunately they can't be repaired. 😞

The lights are great. They light up our back yard. They help so much in revitalizing the welcome factor. The only issue we are having is the lights are drooping more each day. Researching for a better way to hang the lights. But our overall satisfaction is Fabulous. Would definitely buy again.

I used these for my wedding reception. They are very easy to use. It works well to string a wire through the hooks to help with hanging. They provide warm lighting and the perfect feel for an elegant event! I would definitely recommend! Be careful you check the product if you order used like new. I did this and some of them were fine and some were broken! This length would do a tent shape across a medium sized gym.

BUYERS BEWARE: (and I never give one-star reviews). I cannot believe the number of 5 star reviews for this product except that most of them must have been written directly after hanging them. I wonder how many of those would downgrade their rating after the one-month, no questions asked return policy. If you take the time to read all the 1, 2, and 3 star reviews you will realize that these are not durable for long term use and have failed many after a rainstorm. But, let's look at my issue with the TWO I bought thinking the first one was an outlier problem only to find out that the second one purchased has the exact same BIG problem and also had some new issues described by many reviewers. I chose these as they claim to have all the features I wanted including dimmable (works well) and a timer option (DOES NOT WORK AT ALL). After turning them on and then depressing either the 3-hour timer or the 5-hour timer, I can see the little red transmission dot on the remote light up.... however, after trying BOTH 50-ft strands I can report that NEITHER EVER RECOGNIZED the timer option and NEVER turned off until I manually turned them off. Furthermore, on the purchase of the second one, I experienced what someone else reported which is that it mysteriously turned itself on. It also mysteriously went from the steady illumination that I chose to flashing mode. Needless to say, they are both going back after all the trouble of putting one up (but smartly testing the second one without removing it completely). I suspect most of these light strands have problems so I am now going to the web to research "best string lights" and then will look at all reviews with a more discerning eye before replacing this dud of a product with a similar dud. I will also give the final product a big thumbs up... (after having them up and using them for at least a month).

Update!!!!!!!! Seller offered to replace the power adapter and as of this posting it seems to of have fixed the issue. Ultimately time will tell. Seller was more than willing to make things right. No matter what. I do really love these lights. When they are on, they are GREAT! Remote functions as it should and does an awesome job! But........they randomly turn there selves on at all times of the night/day, sometimes strobing, sometimes solid. Not good for this to happen at 2am, which it did! We thought we were being raided by the police.

I love these so much !! Plug in only ! Used on sunroom so nice!
