Battery change requires effort
I have several of the MX-K2 boxes. Used to practice sending and to adjust Morse key off-line. It is OK for that purpose. Battery lasts a long time. Was not successful in using the box to key a transmitter. Not clear what the issue was and most available transmitters have internal CW keyer + some memory for repetitive messages. One needs a very small Philips screwdriver to remove screws that allows access to batteries. Plan ahead for a container for the removed screws! Many suppliers of this box - search for the lowest price. An operator of Morse code needs this box as a minimum to facilitate adjusting one's key. Traditional single paddle key does work, but so, apparently, does the new double-paddle key.

Nice unit.
No directions. Had to browse the internet to activate properly.

It's ok...
It's small, and has 2 memories, seams to work ok. I have about 2 maybe 3 solid hours in on the same set of batteries, so that seems ok. Downside, no volume or tone control, you're stuck with that high pitched piezo screech, and you have to take out 4 very tiny screws to change / install batteries. Upside is there are 2 jumpers inside you can turn off the speaker, and reverse dit dah to dah dit on the paddles, also this is small enough where it would be good for traveling.
