Acoustic Panel, Large, 116 x 58cm, Pale Blue

These acoustic panels are the real deal! My studio is in a very awkward shaped room, and muddiness just grows as soon as I turn my speakers up. I've tried to use other panels to eliminate these reflections but the AudioSilk panels just do it right! I got mine in a black colour and they look really good in my space. The size is perfect for what I need and cover a lot of wall space for an affordable price. They are lightweight and easy to install using command strips (no adhesion is included) and feel secure.

I bought these panels to reduce echo and reflections in my home office, as the bare walls made video meetings sound harsh/unprofessional. The panels have helped cut down the echo, though I’ll likely need to add more to achieve the effect I want. As the instruction leaflet notes, “effective acoustic treatment can be a tricky process.” On the plus side, they include a 10% discount code for future purchases. They are thinner than the promotional pictures suggest, but still a decent size. You can notice the sound-dampening effect when placing your ear close to them. I mounted them with adhesive strips. Instead of the recommended branded 3M strips, I used Spear & Jackson adhesive strips. The panels are very light, and they’ve held securely. I chose the light blue variant, which looks smart on the wall. The laser-etched AudioSilk logo is subtle but stylish, and up close the panels have a felt-like texture. Overall, I’m pleased with the purchase and would consider buying more.

These panels are well made, lightweight for easy install and attractive with all the colour options available. I feel like they are more suited to a general living environment rather than a studio where the idea is to absorb as much broadband sound as possible. Panels this thin can't absorb any low end but I've put the up in my bedroom that was suffering from flutter echoes and high frequency ringing and they've done a decent job of calming that down. The lightweight and low profile means you could also easily mount on the ceiling of a room ad they would be very discrete

I’m pleased with these acoustic panels. The pure white matches the room perfectly. They do a good enough job of reducing echo, although I think I would need a few more to make a real difference. They are very lightweight, so they were easy to mount. Overall, I like them.

These are too heavy to be mounted using any form of 'sticky tape' - even expensive 3m stuff etc, they will come off in a few hours. These are very thin so need lots of have any type of effect

I've used these for a while and just bought this new pair. They definitely dampen and diffuse reflections and have noticeably improved my recordings. They are light and moveable, and a good price, which is why I went for these. Would definitely recommend for those on a budget or who can't fit big thick panels in anywhere. Great for putting on the ceiling too. I actually built my own wooden frames, which was quite time consuming but means I now have an effective and cheap "booth" for recording that is very light weight and can be easily packed away.

These are performing well in taming the high frequency reflections pinging around my music room from both instruments and my studio monitor speakers. They are large but also thin, so bear in mind that unless stacked they wont attenuate the deeper bass frequencies. That said they appear very well manufactured well and look nice mounted.

I’ve been looking for a way to treat my voiceover space without making it look like a 'foam cave.' These AudioSilk panels are stunning, beautiful and has a modern tiny look, fitting perfectly with my room’s modern decor and the difference is night and day. The installation was easy and stay perfectly in place with just a few sticky strips. The room sounds significantly 'tighter' and mid-range distortion is quite lower with this addition. The build quality is impressive, material feels high-quality, durable and light. What I love most is that have absolutely no chemical smell right out of the box so, these panels were exactly what I needed. Highly recommend these for anyone who needs professional and affordable treatment without break the bank and the walls!"

I recently picked up some audiophile-grade tower speakers and integrated analog amplifier for my basement room. Unfortunately they sounded terrible due to the multiple hard surfaces (wooden parquet floors, dry walls and low ceilings) reflecting sound really badly. I did my research and learnt about audio treatment could be the solution for my issue. Among all the audio treatment solutions out there, I decided to give Audio Silk a try. Three things caught my eye about the product - how these panels were made (recycled PET plastic which is a win in my book), their look (the color options really stood out and made it more an accent piece or blend in if you choose the neutral colors rather than scream I am in a music studio), and ease of placement (just 3M removable stickers and no holes on the wall). At first I was skeptical a little since the panels are quite thin when I got them, however they are really dense and light weight. After following the instructions in the packaging on placement (takes you to a page on Audio Silk’s site and some apps to help measure the room acoustics), even with 2 panels I already noticed less reverb in the room. Definitely will be getting more panels. Just an observation that has doesn’t impact product performance: the panels are quite large so do check the measurements when ordering. Also, the color is slightly less concentrated than what the product images show since it’s a mixture of fiber strands of different tones.

I bought them to reduce echo in my room so that my microphone recordings would sound more professional. However, the product is not as great as expected. Adhesive tape is not included for sticking them to the wall or ceiling; you have to buy it yourself. Perhaps also because I am in a large room with ordinary people, but I hear little effect or difference, and 40 euros for one of these sound panels is a bit excessive.

Eficace

Fabriqués en PET recyclé, ces panneaux n'ont pas la même matière ni la même texture que les panneaux habituels en mousse PU. Cela a pour conséquence d'être moins polluant, et d'après le fabricant plus efficace. La large dimension de 116x58 permet de couvrir 2,7m2 avec les 4 panneaux. C'est beaucoup et peu à la fois. On ne pourra pas couvrir un mur entier, il faudra donc trouver les emplacements les plus efficaces, là où l'onde sonore rebondit. Simple sur le papier, mais évidemment on ne la voit pas donc beaucoup d'essais pour arriver à un résultat décent. De manière générale, on peut les mettre derrière une TV si c'est le mur qui communique avec un voisin, derrière des enceintes, etc. Si le but n'est pas pour l'audio, cette dimension permet cependant de recouvrir par exemple intégralement une porte d'entrée qui serait mal isolée.
