Q: Can I use this mix to grow indoor herbs?

Im just a beginner at gardening but I have planted herbs with it and they are sprouting up Im using this for container growing so it should be fine

There are 25 3/4 of dry soil in a Cubic Foot. Hope this helps.

Q: how many pounds is this bag? Would it be good for potted rose bush?

The bag reads "8 dry quarts". I found this product to be very good for my indoor plants. I used it to provide nutrients for my indoor plants and they seem to really like this potting soil. I am not familiar with roses, however, I believe this potting soil will encourage healthy growth in any plant. Hope this helps!
