BOSCH 28A ICON Premium Beam Wiper Blade; 28" - Single

The Bosch wipers are always a perfect balance of quality and value. They do the job and do not skip or streak. I found the instructions easy to follow for self-installation.

Pros Very easy to install (under 2 minutes, no tools) Extremely quiet. They move water and windshield detergent better than anything I've ever used. Cons High price point This review is premature as I've only had these installed for 2 days. If their performance changes, I will post addendums to this review. Previously, I've had 28" Valeo Ultimates on my 1998 Chrysler Town and Country Minivan for the last 2.6 years. They are now dry-rotted, the rubber is coming off, and they have been incredibly noisy since I installed them. This time, I spent even more money for the icons. I went into this with great skepticism, since they cost $50.90 for the pair. They are complex wipers. By complex, I am referring to a greater detail in parts and workmanship - they cost more because there are more steps in manufacturing. When the wipers are activated, the blades pivot on a hinge so you hear a pleasant click as the wiper changes direction, and then the blade shifts to an optimum angle which moves liquid flawlessly. The Valeo's always moved water well, but these are better. Wiper blades have never impressed me before, but these do. If they hold up 40% longer (as advertised), and continue to be as functional as they are now, these wipers are worth the extra money.

Great, great great quality wipers. Occasionally there might be a slight squeak or two if the windshield is not as wet anymore but 99% of the time these perform better than anything else I've put on my car. No streaking whatsoever, a good complete coverage on my windshield. Super easy installation too, the factory wipers were infuriating to take off and once I put these ones on there I appreciated even more how smartly designed they are. I actually had to take a pair of pliers to pry off the old ones it was that bad. Make sure to google what size your car needs as a good fit is essential to lessen squeaking and streaking. The A and B designations are not as important if you cannot find the exact ones you need, they're for driver/passenger side variations but in my experience of putting two sets of these on two different cars they performed perfectly even if I had to use an A & A combo and couldn't find an A and B combo. Stop looking and just get these ones!

Bought in 2017. Finally retired in 2025 when the plastic broke from all the sun exposure. Extremely long lasting. Only downside is they streaked from day one. Not terribly but more than I'd have liked. When I finally replaced them the rubber was still good, just the frame was no longer intact.

Best wiper blades I've owned, but a little pricey. I was lucky and get them on sale several months ago. These things have worked great since then with zero issues. No annoying rubbing or squeaking noises, and wipes completely clean with no streaks at all. Easy to install and remove. I'll be purchasing these again (when they're on sale, of course). UPDATE: I've had these same wiper blades for over two years now and they're still going strong. I highly recommend these blades and will gladly pay full price for them now that I know how long they will last. If you do happen to catch them on sale, then I recommend buying multiples.

I've never used Bosch wipers before. Always used other brands, but heard they were really good. All I can say is wow am I impressed. I'll never use another brand now and wish I bought them years ago. I bought these for a Nissan Altima and when the wipers are on they are so smooth and quiet you can't even tell they are on. They glide across as if they aren't even touching your glass, but of course are. It takes care of the water as it should, they don't streak and just work perfectly. These might cost a little more then other brands, but they are well worth it.

I have used the Bosch Icon 28" and 17" on my 2009 Altima for 3 years. When it became time for them to be replaced, I tried the Trico Force, but they were horrible, made a lot of noise and chattered on the glass. I then tried PIAA since I have them installed on my mom's Camry, but they so not properly fit against the glass on the drivers side. So I ended up returning back to the Bosch Icon. I got them in today and installed. Cleans well, quiet, and no chattering. When the time comes to replace them again in a few years, I'll stick with Bosch. But I do wish they made a Silicon version like PIAA.

Bosch ICON wipers are incredible. These are my second pair of wipers and i'll continue to come back for them. The bracket-less design is visually appealing and the streamlined design works hugs the windshield even at higher speeds. Wipes the windshield completely clear of water droplets. To maximize the effectiveness of this product, I suggest pairing with Rain X Glass Treatment. Amazing results. Even with shipping, these come out cheaper than purchasing from the local Canadian tire.

BEWARE, this is not equivalent to 28AOE or 28BOE and will not work on Ford Escape 2017, this works only for a HOOK attachement as there is no adaptor!!! I don't quite know how people mention they installed this on that car because it is impossible!
