Secrets Self-Made Millionaires Teach Their Kids

I don't personally have kids but I still found the book just as valuable as his other books. I also now know I have a great resource to educate my future kids about succeeding in life. One of my favorite concepts that Steve talks about is leverage. Another significant concept that was impactful for me was Steve's emphasis on shifting my belief system. I immediately took advantage of Steve's free resources and started listening to his self talk programs daily and then I shifted over to one of his favorite recommended authors on the topic of beliefs and neuroplasticity, Dr. Shad Helmstetter. I began implementing Dr. Shad work because of Steve's endorsement and I have seen a drastic change in the direction of my life - and it's been for the better. After reading several of his books (also How Rich People Think and 177 Mental Toughness Secrets of the World Class), one of my favorite things to do is to re-listen/re-read over them to uncover other nuggets I missed the previous time. Part of my evening routine is to read at least one chapter (1-2 pages) and think about how I can apply the principle in my life.

Absolutely LOVE this book!! It has impacted myself and my three nephews so much! They ask their parents to read it to them now!! Each chapter is rich with tools you can implement immediately. There are resources and critical thinking questions which I ask myself and the and the kids. Their answers are incredible! I have started having them write down their answers and look at it later!! I have seen such a positive impact in their self esteem and overall confidence already! It would be a total disservice to not read this to your child!! Steve Siebold is a genius and such an asset to the future of our society! Thank you Steve!

After reading this book, I immediately ordered copies for my son and daughter who are both grown and have started lives of their own. Not only is the content extremely applicable to them, but my son is excited to start reading the book with my 6 year old granddaughter. The wisdom contained in this book, which is based on the experiences of those who have lived what they say and have been personally interviewed by Steve Siebold, is priceless and not something that can be found just anywhere. The price of the book versus the wealth of real world knowledge contained in it, made purchasing extra copies a no-brainer! Thanks so much for taking the time to write the book and share the knowledge, and anyone who reads the book and takes advantage of the information in it will definitely benefit and help the next generation get set for success!

I bought this book for my 11 year old son and have been reading it to him at night. There are other books out there to help teach kids about the importance of saving money and finances, but this book teaches how to think about money. The author does a wonderful job at opening up a discussion about money. I also like that it explains how money is important, but so is hard work and keeping good values. It is written in a very organized way and with numerous short chapters that make it easy to stop and talk to you child about the topic you've just read. I find this book an invaluable resource for any parent who wishes for success for their child's future. A+

I've read about a third so far. I thought it would be chapters- it's not. Each page is a lesson, then on the backside is an inspiring quote, thought provoking question(s) and another book to research and learn more about . I'm glad I bought it. I wasn't clear on the age profile. It's more late middle school and into high school. I can read this with my 11 year old, but he would not be into researching more. It has a lot of good ideas and points and the differences between the general public- how they spend much of their lives thinking/wasting time about comfort and what they'd rather be doing- watching TV, gaming, facebook etc. Where millionaires never stop learning, researching and being the best they can. How to choose and offer services people want and will pay for etc. To remain humble. I am enjoying it but will wait to introduce this book for another year or 2. Not to be sexist- but it is def written from a man's perspective! Like the chapter/page on how to choose a mate and what to look for in a supporting wife. A few sentences were pretty blatant. And haven't seen much mention of female millionaires. Hopefully that will change with a revised edition in the future when more girls set out to make their mark!

You need this book, its everything you wish you knew and everything you wish you could teach your kids

The review is like the book. This book is made for the current generation; quick, focused and to the point. "Secrets Self-Made Millionaires Teach Their Kids" is a great primmer of time-tested ideologies and ethics of the wealthy, broken down into bite-sized nuggets ripe for accepting minds. Don’t let the title fool you, this is SO much more than a how-to book on financial wealth; it’s a pathway to a successful, responsible and fulfilled life. Thank you Mr. Siebold.

This is such a great book. We read this book for our 90 day challenge. So amazing.... My kids who are 12, 11, and 10 have enjoyed this book as much as we have and have had some grow from it! SO AMAZING Great buy, its a MUST READ!

I like this book.

I LOVED this book. 10/10 So much so, I gave it to my son to read. I recommend it in seminars and speeches whenever I’m talking to parents who genuinely want the best for their kids. Because this isn’t really a book about becoming a millionaire. It’s about teaching young people to THINK differently about money, work, failure, responsibility and creating value. Schools teach kids plenty. They rarely teach them this. If you’re looking for a Christmas present with more value than another bloody gadget… put this under the tree. This is great book every parent should read them self and read to their kids every night as a bed time story :)

This would be an excellent resource for teenagers and their parents. World class strategies to create the foundations for lifelong success. Each chapter summaries a lesson then provides action items and additional resources. Brilliant!

Really good advice for kids especially.
