Very easy to use. I like the small size as it fits in a small bag with my prescription eye drops. The orange buttons stand out. Bright yellow color of the timer itself is easy to find if I lay it down on a table. Loud enough to hear but not too loud. I like that I can turn it off to save batteries. I love having it use one AAA battery rather than the more expensive round flat ones that some timers use. The numerals are large and a dark black. The LED screen has decent contrast so I can see the black numerals on the light grey background. I am very pleased with the timer. The bonus is I also have a backup if this one breaks since it came as a 2 pack.

I use these for fluency checks in middle school. It fits neatly in my hand for quick operation. The bonus is when my middle schoolers hear me set the timer when I'm not doing fluency checks, they quiet down quickly because they know they will lose a few seconds of passing time based on how long the timer runs before they settle down. There is a magnet on the back so it sits on the side of my drawer without getting lost.

Good But Not Great. Your satisfaction with these may depend upon whether you value their low price more than their ...average...quality. They work perfectly well. But the magnet is inadequate to keep it stuck to the slanted stainless steel face of my range. They immediately slide off. GE uses very thin metal here, and the magnet doesn't have enough to work with. They stick fine to the 100% vertical side of my fridge however. The contrast of the display is exaggerated in the online pics. If the display is not lit by a decent light source, you will not see the digits. The printed words/symbols on the face are a bit fuzzy and not as sharp and legible as the pics would suggest. However, these are forgivable faults considering the very low price. They do represent a good value. It's just that if you're looking for something that appears more high-end, you should probably spend a bit more.

Excellent timer. Silent option uses a flashing bright red LED. Beeper is very loud, and can be heard easily outdoors or from another room. Case shape is easy to pickup. Stand works well. Magnet is not too strong so no loud sounds are made when sticking the timer to metal items.

The timers were exactly what I was looking for. The magnet on the back was strong so it wouldn't fall on the floor easily. The beeper is loud enough to be heard from the other side of the house.

We love these timers. There's an option for a loud beep when time runs out, or no noise. We use these for our kids and they work great. The display is fairly big and easy to read, and the buttons are easy to figure out.

Best way to put it is.. I received two timers for what I paid for one a few weeks ago. The one I bought first never did operate correctly, always upon startup displaying 88.88 and I was very difficult to get it to work at all. It is now in a garbage heap.The new one are great!

I use it every morning to set timer for 6.5 minute soft boiled eggs. Great cuz it resets back to 6.5 minutes automatically for next morning. 2 for ~$7, and very compact, and very intuitive to use. Luv it!
