Great app-free step tracker with a classic digital watch interface
This is a solid replacement for more "modern" step trackers with a lot of advantages, as long as you can deal with the clunky user interface of a classic digital watch. I've worn this all day every day since I got it, unlike any other step tracker I've tried. You can set a step target, see how many steps you've taken, and even review your step count several days back without ever touching a glitchy app or tiny touch screen. The display is great: you can actually see it in sunlight, the time/date is always visible without having to wake it up, and the light for viewing in the dark is easily accessible in the dark and doesn't blind you at 3AM. Oh, and you don't have to take it off to charge it every few days! The original battery has lasted about 9 months for me so far.The elephant in the room, of course, is the classic digital watch user interface. I've worn lots of digital watches, so I'm used to it, but the downsides are there. There are five squidgy little buttons that do very arbitrary things depending on which screen you're on and whether you press or hold them. The timing on hold interactions is awkwardly long. There are way too many screens to cycle through to get back to the normal clock screen, and you can't disable any even though you will never use half of them.As for digital watch features: I use the timer all the time. The watch's software crashes and stays crashed for quite a while if you leave the stopwatch running for too long (days), so I avoid using that unless I'm timing something I won't forget. The alarm is as pointless as any other digital watch's due to how quiet it is. There is an hourly chime if you like that. There's some kind of stopwatch record screen that I don't understand or care about. There's a second time zone time display that mostly serves to briefly confuse me into thinking I'm looking at the normal time screen. The main clock display switches between displaying the date or step count with the large "LAP / RESET" face button, which is a good use of space. Unfortunately, on date mode, the 0% to 100% progress bar on top indicates... how far you are through the current minute. You know, that thing the seconds display already does. It's pretty disappointing to me that you can't see step progress without hiding the date, but it's not the end of the world. The included strap is small, as is usual for a Casio watch. I have pretty small wrists for a man and I'm on the fourth hole in. That's typical for a Casio watch, though, so the usual response of "just buy a cheap third party strap that works for you" applies. The strap material doesn't bother me when clean, but it does have annoying grooves to keep clean, so I'll probably get a NATO strap now that I think about it.I compared the step count while also wearing a Fitbit, and it of course wasn't the same but was essentially directly proportional over a period of several days. So as long as you're using the data to set a goal that works for you and stick to it, this will do just as well as a dedicated tracker to regulate activity level for weight loss or fitness routine purposes. The rest of the features of my other trackers were unreliable gimmicks at best, so I don't miss them at all.

Low-tech pedometer watch
The beige looks exactly like the ad which shows it as kinda pinkish. The watch face is on the smaller side coming in at just about 35mm or 1.25 inches. I am an adult woman with a 6.5 in wrist circumference so it works great for me. It functions just as expected and it is simple to use. The watch is accurate so far and it feels substantial like it will hold up for a long time. Atthe price I paid, it is a great alternative to my smart watch when I work in places where Bluetooth and smart devices aren’t allowed.

This watch is horribly complicated
Bought this because I don't need a lot of features. Primarily I wanted to have a watch, a step counter and not have to charge my watch frequently. I received the watch and the first thing I saw was a user manual that was an inch thick with print I need to have a magnifying glass to read. After working an hour to set the correct time and date I gave up. I had only accomplished setting the time. The step counter was working but the date was wrong. The next week I had to take a trip involving traveling to another time zone so with great trepidation I tried to set the time and date. I after45 minutes I had only succeeded in changing the time correctly but now I had an alarm that went off every hour, the date was wrong and the step counter didn't work. I have given up on the technology marvel and I am going with my analog watch and a step counter I downed on my phone. Would strongly warn you this is a tester.

Excellent basic, small, step counting watch
The only reason there are bad reviews is because it is mislabeled as a men’s watch when it’s actually a women’s. This is one of the only basic digital watches with a step counter. Perfect size for a shorter person or woman. Simple, easy to use, no bells and whistles. Step counter is awesome. I hope they never stop selling this because I’ll be getting another when mine dies.

Way too small for a man's wrist.
This is not a men's watch. The watch is laughably small, you may look at some photos and think it's not, but trust me, it is.

Cute, durable and functional
Love my watch! It was inexpensive and good quality! I use this as a sports coach so it has to be durable and functional. After initial set up it has been good to go.

This watch is NOT water resistent as advertized.
I like the watch otherwise and normally wouldn't take off so many stars for this. But if you advertize your watch as being 100m/10 ATM water resistant, then I should be able to swim with the watch on without it breaking.I had two of these watches break within a few months of owning them. The first time I thought it was a fluke. The second time, I could see water inside the watch display after only some light swimming. I made sure not to press any buttons on the watch while it was in water, but it still got water in it somehow. I am pretty disappointed.
