Product description ------------------- Optimise your dust collection and appreciate increased convenience - iVAC is an intelligent controller that switches your shop vacuum on and off automatically - as you use your power tool. - the iVAC Switch Box controls your vacuum as required. Power to your vacuum and power tool is routed through the iVAC Switch Box. The clever electronics sense your power tool status and control your vacuum. With this easy-to-use vacuum switch you’ll be amazed at how much cleaner power tool work can be. Never forget to turn your vacuum on again! Dust and debris is collected more efficiently, airborne dust is minimised and clean-up is much easier. Operation: A vacuum connected to the iVAC Switch Box is controlled by 3 modes: AUTO – 0 – 1. AUTO: When the connected power tool is switched on the vacuum will automatically switch on after a delay of about 1 second. This delay function is to prevent the start up power surges of the power tool and vacuum coinciding and overloading your switch box and/or your power source. When the power tool is switched off the vacuum will continue to run for about 6 seconds then automatically switch off. This overrun function is to purge dust and debris from your power tool, workstation and pipes. Technical: Maximum total load is 13A - 2900watts. Maximum vacuum power is 1500watts. Power tool AUTO sw threshold is approximately 0.15A – 35watts. Circuit breaker is 13A - 'B' type, user resettable. The internal vacuum sw relay is rated at 40A. Suitable for continuous operation. NOTE: Not suitable for NVR (magnetic switch) protected vacuums. Safety Warning -------------- Use Indoor, dry locations only
