Utopia Bedding Waterproof Pillow Protectors with Zipper Body Size (2 Pack), Terry Pillow Covers

These pillow covers are more than I thought they would be ! To my surprise the inner side has a plastic lining which is thin flexible with no plastic noise sounds that being a huge plus.I was tickled pink when opening and not being bombarded with formaldehyde fumes .Let’s see how they hold up after a few washes which I think should be done with care .I’ll update if something changes though I can’t complain at the great price.

This is a soft and comfortable pillow case cover. I washed it before using and it came out of the dryer in its original condition, no shrinkage or pilling. It feels good to lay directly on it and it's convenient to have a zipper closure. I placed a satin case over it and there are no issues.

These pillow covers are comfortable/soft/not loud and easy enough to put on.I can't say for sure whether they're dust mite poop proof, but it seems plausible, so they're probably not lying about that.

I love the Terry exterior and waterproof interior. I have never seen this combination in a pillow protector.

First comment I have to say is the zipper. It's a standard zipper which I took a star off for. BUT, they do have a seam encased around it so it's not exposed. I REALLY dislike standard zippers on cases because they will eventually scratch your face. So time will tell if the seam helps stop this. I'm hoping the seam doesn't get wonky after washing & drying and stays flat as it is now.Ok, on to the positives.This case is vinyl on the inside and not a stiff, thick vinyl. It's a little textured maybe to keep the pillow from being slippery inside the case? Nice detail. The outside terry cloth is a tiny, tiny bit stiff, not uncomfortable feeling though, and I'm sure washing will help that and fabric softener too. It's most likely from manufacturing.Terry is a short looped terry,, so it's fairly thick. This is great protwction for occasional droolers (yes myself, I hate waking to a soggy pillow, but my dog loves it..yep, yuck again) or for children when they've got stomach flu. I use memory foam pillows so they are not really washable except for the exterior part of the pillow (Bissell green machines work great for this) this will help keep it clean.Recommend!
