Great, informative book. Gives a very straight forward demonstration on how to write research reports, with a sample one included. It's great for a wide span of grades - my fifth grader found this helpful and didn't think it was beneath his level.

A great book for any age group. A guide to writing and research and how to write the reports so the students don't go off on tangents in their writing. Read this book to your students before giving them any writing assignments. It may save you the heartache of constantly writing the same comments on all their papers!!!

For 3rd-5th grade teachers needing an introductory mentor for informational text. I'm so glad I ran across this book; I bought 3 to share.

This is the absolute easiest book for a child to use! It gives step by step instructions and examples. It was colorful and informative and very kid friendly! It really gave my daughter a huge boost in her confidence in writing a research report. It is a great starter book for any young child.

Great reference for the research process. My class and I followed the steps as we read and their research writing went smoother than any previous year.

Some good information. The pictures are great. Some of the research strategies I wouldn't use, but it's easy enough to skip those pages.

Nice book

This book is fun and colourful. It lays out the steps required from picking a topic to the final write-up, including how to organize jot notes into paragraphs.It is a resource all my kids can use to help them work through all their research projects.
