araree Aero Flex Galaxy Z Fold Series Case with Hinge Protection, Protective Slim Cover Protective Body (PC) with Hinge Protector (TPU), Compatible with Galaxy Z Fold 5G - (Black, Galaxy Z Fold 5)

I had originally purchase a Spigen Tough Armor for this phone. Shame on me for trusting Spigen a 3rd time around, as I had used them on 2 separate occasions with the Galaxy Fold 2, both of which broke with the smallest of impacts. One thing that sucks about the fold phones is that it is hard to find a case that won't make the phone any bulkier, but I really wanted a case that would protect the spine of the phone, all the way not having something that would stick out behind (for wireless charging purposes). So I tried the Spigen Tough Armor again for the Fold 4, only for it to break the moment I set the phone down on my desk a little too hard (legit the phone fell out of my hand and dropped no more than 6 inches onto the table top. I sent the case back and began my search. I found this case and well..here I am to give you some key points that I have found to be awesome: - It does not require any glues or adhesives for the case to say in place. If your case is shifting around on the phone, you may need to reapply it or should probably exchange the case for a different one. - Because the spine protector doesnt go into the case, but rather shifts behind the phone, the case itself is actually less bulky than the Spigen Tough Armor. - I've dropped the phone a number of times now. One time, I accidentally dropped it from about 3 ft to the ground, and the case took the hit. However, despite some scratches, the case is still intact and working very well. - It is obvious that the construction of the case is MUCH stronger than Spigen's cases. All in all, the Araree case is awesome! Just a quick tip. If you are having issues with fingerprint reading, I suggest redoing the fingerprints with the case on. I noticed the same thing and maybe this is caused because of the phone case is really close around the fingerprint scanner/power button, but once I reset my fingerprints, the scanning worked out just fine every time after the fact. I found that fingerprint scanning was not affected after doing these steps, with or without the case on the phone.

The case didn't come with double sided tape or stickers or anything to hold it onto the phone. The hinge cover wasn't attached to both pieces, but stayed in place if you had both pieces in place. The only problem is because of the lack of anything for the case to stick to it often slides off the phone and is incredibly annoying. The front screen cover is also too high up so you can't even swipe from the sides of the screen without a lot of frustration. It's just a cheap case and really kind of sucks overall, but it will keep your phone from breaking if it stays on during the fall. Half of the case did fall off during one fall, but luckily the phone landed on the half of the case that stayed on. Anyway, I wouldn't buy this case if I were you, unless you're desperate. I've since sold the phone and destroyed the case because I legitimately hated the case and it kind of made me hate the phone too. If you still want to buy they case that's up to you, but I wouldn't recommend it.

It feels nice to hold as well as the hinge being nice and flush with the phone unlike other company’s. Others useful stick out and make the phone much bulkier which this case does not. The case folds nice and the hinge is smooth and has a nice feel as well. Probably the best thing about this one that the other company’s don’t think about is the front screen cover gestures this case has good cutout for a screen protector as well as good edge protection while having useable gestures other make the lip to thick. Case has good camera lip protection as well great case the best I have tried so far out of Samsung ghost tech and more. Minor things is I wish it had MagSafe but i couldn’t find a good case with MagSafe. I wish it protected the corner of the hinge a little bit more but other then that it’s great.

I purchased this twice. The dark green cover rocked! It protected by phone really well. I replaced it with the cream color when it started to chip from a couple of drops. I figured that although it still fit well, protection was compromised, and a Fold 5 is a pricey gadget, so protection is key. The cream color still protects well and fits like a glove. However, it changes color and darkens where you hold it. It darkens to a nicotine color! Yuck. I wish they had more colors, but evidently light colors would not be a good option.

I've tried so many cases this one is the best but not perfect. Edge of the cover screen raised too much, makes it harder to use.

This case would work fine with some adjusting, but unfortunately it's built in a way that doesn't allow much tinkering to make it work. The main flaws: 1. The rubber hinge protector piece is barely attached to the front case piece and had to be reglued back on after about a week. 2. This case HATES screen protectors and lifts them up if they're glass or crumples them if they're plastic. It's very annoying, there's no solution for this, the edges of the case are just too deep into the screen area. 3. The front piece comes off fairly easily when opening the phone, which also stresses the rubber piece and makes it come off even faster. It does protect your hinge, and it does snap on instead of adhering with tape, but the inconvenience isn't worth it.

Honestly I didn't expect much but case came pretty clutch for the price. Had it on couple days now and compared to alot of other cases I've had this is good stuff for the price. Seen many over 80$ and this is just great for under 25 bucks. I use a tempered glass in front and fits perfect. Not sure how long it will last but it's great for the price point. Had other cases with hinge protection but they all are magnets and honestly make it bulkier but this one isn't too bad it actually lays flat. Typical hard plastic for a case and seems to be on there solid. I've had 4 other cases and so far this the one I enjoy the most. Time will tell on degrading but I'm happy for now, only con I have is that the hinge part is not tight when closed, has like a little roundness to it so it leaves small gap on top and bottom of the hinge but it's not crazy like the otterbox ones. For the price and quality you can't go wrong since only the spigen and otterbox offers this style and costs 80+$

Five stars...stylish, durable and really good protection for phone on all sides (top, botton, hinge). It's not a slim case, but also not bulky - this case strikes the perfect balanace.

While opening the phone the left side of the cover keeps coming off the phone.

The product title in Amazon ("Compatible with Galaxy Z Fold 4 5G") and details in the packaging (see attached photos) all indicate the case is suitable for the Galaxy Z Fold 4. However, it DID NOT FIT. Will be returning this and seeking a refund as the product information is clearly incorrect and/or deceptive.
