Simple Water Boost Hydrating Gel Cream, Face Moisturizer, 1.7 oz

I have been using Simple products for as long as I can remember. I love Simple products because they work really well for my dry sensitive skin. I've always used their Replenishing Rich Moisturizer, but I was developing some dry patches on my face that would not go away and I was looking for something more to help with that. When I saw that Simple had come out with the Water Boost Hydrating Gel Cream Face Moisturizer and saw that it was made for dry dehydrated skin I bought it right away. A few minutes after I applied it to my face I could really notice a difference! My skin felt soft and smooth, especially where the dry patches were, and it even looked better too! I've been using it now for about a week and a half and my dry patches have gone away! The only downfall is that it comes in a small tube. I wish they would come out with a bigger size, but other than that I absolutely love this moisturizer and would recommend it to anyone with dry/dehydrated/sensitive skin! I also use this product along with the Simple Water Boost Micellar Face wash, and at night I use the Simple Water Boost Skin Quench Sleeping Cream.

I absolutely love this product My daughter introduced me to it. My skin is very dry however, I sweat so much in my sinus area and my skin is very sensitive. Most products are too heavy when I put them on and they make me sweat more or I feel like I need to get a papertowel etc and wipe it off. None of that with this. It's light, it moisturizes my dry areas and it does not leave a greasy or heavy feeling. It dosent make me sweat at all. Best of all it only takes a little. I use about a dime size and that works great. I only need to use once a day. I recommend this product.

I bought this because they stopped making the old "Simple Lightweight Moisturizer", in the white pump bottle with the green cap. That stuff was my go-to daily face moisturizer. This is good, but it's not quite the same. What I liked about the old Lightweight Moisturizer was that it seemed to absorb almost instantly and felt like nothing on my skin, but noticeably improved moisture/softness. This one still works in the moisture department, but it feels somehow more artificial. It's hard to describe, but it feels more like "I put something on my skin to make it smooth" vs "my skin is just magically smoother". Anyway, it still works as a moisturizer, and it doesn't give me any bad reactions, so that's good. I just wish they would bring back the old stuff.

LOVED IT! I’ve been using the Simple brand makeup wipes removers and they’re THE BEST I have tried especially since I have extremely sensitive skin. Even though this moisturizer is a bit(but just a tiny bit) greasy, I don’t mind because it’s REALLY moisturizing and it’s perfect for my combination skin. It’s a gel but it’s a bit watery. However, once you put some on your face your skin just drinks it in. You don’t need much of the product because just a small amount of product is needed. My face feels nice afterwards and soft. Bought 2 more for back ups. Also, yes it’s a small tube(which it’s perfect for traveling) but honestly a little bit goes a long way because you don’t need too much product since it’s a watery gel so I think the tube can last quite a bit! I love this brand and will look into trying some of their other products in the near future.

I really love this “Simple” gel cream I hope they never stop making it. I have oily skin and other creams seem to just Irritate my skin or just feel thick and heavy like it’s blocking my pores. Not this cream. It feels light weight and yet moisturizing. It has no scent. I use it all over my face and my neck. I have bought department store moisturizers and yet I keep coming back to this Simple hydrating gel cream it never fails me. The only problem is I discovered I can’t find it in any of the stores anymore in my area, I don’t know why but I never thought to look for it here on Amazon. So now I’m a faithful purchaser of this product here on Amazon I love it so much I just hope the company still will continue to make it and that Amazon will continue to sell it.

I bought this because of the name, Simple, the ingredient list appeared clean and great for sensitive skin, and the price point, it seemed like a great substitute for Neutrogena gel that was on backorder. I added it to my skin care regimen as soon as it arrived. Within a few days, I developed an angry inflammed pore at the side of my mouth that grew to the size of a walnut. It took 2 weeks to settle down, an left a scar. I am over 50 and have never had any type of acne scars, so this was alarming. I didn't initially attribute it to the Simple produce, just figured I had maybe done something wrong when exfoliating. The same thing happened to the right side of my upper lip a couple of weeks ago, this time involving 2 pores, and took another 3 weeks to heal, there is still a hard lump of something under my skin and a scar forming. The day I stopped using the Simple moisturizer, my pores started to look and feel better. Could be that the moisturizer is expired- I saw that it was discontinued in 2020, or could be that I am allergic to one or more of the ingredients, but it can be hazardous to open pores I guess. I discarded the remainder of the Simple moisturizer and decided I will go back to tried and true Aveeno- not even sure about trusting any other water based moisturizers.

Really nice product. Rubs in smooth, absorbs well. No pilling when applied over other products. My moisture barrier was a bit messed up from too many exfoliating products and was very sensitive. This didn't sting (my other ones burned a bit, my skin was that compromised) and was very soothing. My skin didn't dry out for the rest of the day. No annoying scent. I will definitely use this going forward in my routines, especially when my skin acts up.

I have sensitive skin and therefore use little, especially on my face. Even hypoallergenic products will make me break out. This product is light and does not clog up my pores, yet provides a bit of moisture to the skin and is not sticky feeling. I love it and will order it again. Only wish it came in a bit larger option.

Amazing price and fast delivery from Amazon Prime! Price is significantly cheaper then pharmacies like Guardian or Watsons. What’s more, the expiry date is quite far off! Good deal.
