Tantra Fluke Pro Bluetooth Receiver 5.0 Bluetooth Kit for Car (Black)

A simple piece of gadget which changed my very old car audio system into a Bluetooth capable one. Have been using it for a week, and I am very happy to have chosen this unit.The build quality is good. The buttons are big and need not be searched for, and the feedback of the buttons are pronounced in a good way. Nice matte finish avoids any king of smudges. The magnetic plate has a small indentation, so the unit stays put and does not slip off. The wires are of good quality too. A tiny light displays the status, which is good enough to be visible even during bright day, and at the same time it is not intrusive during nights.Now coming to the functionality, the device does a great job. With after market attachments, it is very common to have some niggles now and then. But this device surprised me in a good way. I frankly did not expect it to be so hiccup free. Just pair it once with your phone, and the device just auto connects every time. Just one click of the answer/play/pause button, the music player of your phone starts streaming music. Answering an incoming call is as easy, just hit the answer/play/pause button. All other functionalities works as advertised.The best thing about this device is the quality of calls. The call clarity is clean and clear. The inbuilt mike does a great job of picking up our voice clearly, isolating any noise or echo, so that the person at the other end has no trouble too. The streaming music quality is good too. When a phone is connected to the car audio system through aux-cable, the audio can be customized to our taste by using the equalizer of the phone's music player. This customization won't be possible with this device, but it is the same case with all external Bluetooth attachments. Overall, the device performs excellent.One niggle I faced, and some of you may also face, is the annoying high pitched noise from the speakers. It is no way related to this Bluetooth device. I faced this issue while connecting my phone through aux cable when at the same time charging my phone. This is called ground loop noise, which has something to do with the electrical circuitry design of the vehicle (caused by difference in ground of two different power sources). I did some ground work and found that this can be fixed, by adding yet another small gadget called "ground loop noise isolator" to the 3.5mm pin of this device. These ground loop noise isolators are available in amazon from various makers/brands.I am totally satisfied with this elegant device. If I have to mention something that can be added to this device's features, I would say the following.(1) A power on/off button: This device takes power from the USB connection. Typically connected to the USB chargers which connects to the 12V ports of the cars. These chargers typically doesn't have any on/off switches, and the device is also connected to the charger all the time without an on/off switch. So the device remains always powered on. When the car ignition is turned off, the 12V socket is powered by the battery, so the device gets powered too. The device may use very little power, but yet it will consume power continuously from the car battery. If your car is going to be parked idle for longer duration, it's best to disconnect the device from the charger or the charger from the 12V socket. A simple on/off switch in the device would have solved this problem.(2) Back-lit buttons: It is not a deal breaker to be missing this feature. But if the existing white markings on the button had a mild and transluscent back light, it would have made things more convenient during night drives.

Thanks to Tantra, for such an awesome product. I am using a 2010 honda civic which did not have a Bluetooth connectivity option and being a music enthusiast i missed my huge playlist on the phone while driving. Initially i used the auxillary method to listen to the songs, but that was a trouble when i got a call and needed to answer it or to change the track while playing a playlist from Amazon music or Spotify. That's when i started searching for a product that could eliminate my issues. The search produced quite a lot of results and one among them was tanta fluke pro. I went on to reqd the reviews given in Amazon and i could see that almost more than 85 % customers had given 4.5 star rating.Even outside the amazon in team bhp website i found goodreviews about the same. So without further thought i ordered the product.Packaging : as usual Amazon keeps its packaging standards and the product was delivered safe and secure.Installation: the installation was quite simple as it contained a detailed manual and on how to do the same, it's up to us where to place the bluetooth module and the cable is quite long. I had kept it on the dash board next to the volume dial of the audio system so that it blended with the system. After connecting the power it was powered on and the connection was simple and quick.Sound : the sound clarity was really good over the streaming and it just served my purpose since the one main reason for not changing my system was the awesome OEM audio system.Streaming : the streaming was smooth and there were no gliches while playing the songs or answering the calls.Bluetooth connectivity: the connectivity was very quick and easy, and it gets connected to the phone everytime the car is turned on.Overall the product is a superb one and I strongly recommend it to anybody having an old car with a beautiful system and want to add Bluetooth onncetiivity to the same.One small negative is that occassionaly ( not always) the listner on the other end of the phone says that ournsound is feeble.

I was looking for a hands-free for my car, Honda Amaze, for some time now and after researching online for many options - I decided to go with "Tantra Fluke PRO Bluetooth Receiver" based on certain online reviews.I received the product just 4-5 days back. As I am using it - I am just falling in love with this day by day.I was really delighted as I unpacked the product. Its exactly same as whats shown in the product profile photo. Here's a detailed review of product-What you get as you unpack:- Tantra Fluke PRO Bluetooth Receiver which has an aux output wire (for voice outputs) and a USB pin for charging.- A small magnetic Disk to stick the Bluetooth Receiver. The magnetic disk has sticky base which can be fixed to a suitable place in the car near the steering.- Extra adhesive both side sticker for the magnetic disk- Instructions Manual- Welcome CardWhat delighted me:- The product I received is exactly as shown in the product profile photo- The features are exactly in adherence to the specifications mentioned.- I am stunned by the design. The magnetic disk, the finishing, the ease of use - all beautifully thought through. Its a great design to keep the magnetic disk separate than the product. You can always take off the bluetooth device from the magnetic disk as and when required.- The microphone is too good. The voice is very clear on both sides.- Everything is just one click operation. A single click to receive the call, a single click tp cut it. A single click to reset the settings. Its so easy to use.- The look and feel is very impressive. Specially in my case - for my car - it completely goes with the dashboard design and color.- So light weight and compact, yet pretty sturdy. Wires and ports (aux, USB) are pretty strong.- Option to pair 2 phones is very useful. It completes the product.Small Glitches:- The adhesive stickers (both - as is in the magnetic disk as well as the extra one) aren't strongly adhesive enough and couldn't hold the device even for a few hours. I had to use my own double sided adhesive tape to stick the magnetic disk to the car. Its a small glitch- but an important one. I cut 1/2 star rating for the same.- The USB Car Charger should be included too. I had to buy that separately. Would cut 1/2 points for this.- A few times when to start the car ignition, the product doesn't turn on. You would have to unplug the USB pin and plug it again in the charger. (Its mentioned clearly in the manual). Again a small glitch - but still little inconvenient sometimes.- The product needs to be continuously charged - that's a prerequisite and by design. I strongly feel there should be a charging option - wherein the product can be charged anytime (in car, at home etc.) and can be used without requiring to connect to car's battery all the time. This is purely my suggestion and observation for the design and it doesn't take away any points:). If this point is taken care - it would add to the delight and I feel would make the product the best one in the market.My Recommendation:I would strongly recommend this product considering overall features and my own experience. Very suitable if you are looking for budget friendly options.

I have been using this for one month now and found it excellent. Below are the pros and cons:Pros:1. Voice quality is excellent. People on the receiving end can hear the voice clearly as if from normal phone. This is the most important thing I was looking for when I was reviewing the bluetooth receivers to purchase.2. Good reception by the mic - you need not go closer to the mic or speak very loud.3. Sound quality of music is excellent.4. Fast connection speed - takes just 3 to 4 seconds to connect to mobile Bluetooth.5. Easy redial of the LAST NUMBER DIALED - double press on the call icon.6. Music can be controlled from the device - Play, Pause, Next Track, Prev Track7. Switches between music and call automatically - in fact this is done by the mobile itself. Note that this doesn't mean switching between songs played from CD/FM Tuner of your music system and call. Switching happens only between music and call of mobile - your music system has to be in AUX always.8. No disconnection noticed during calls so far.9. Magnetic mounting makes it easy to remove the device (except the base stuck to the car) easily, in case you want to take it out of the car.10. Long cord that helps to keep the main component of the device anywhere you want.11. USB power pin can be connected to the USB port of the music system itself - need not necessarily connect to the USB adapter you have on the cigarette lighter socket.Cons:1. May get turned OFF when engine is started - but can be turned ON by pressing the call button once. Also rarely noticed that, pressing the call button in such cases may not turn it ON. You will have to remove and plugin the USB socket for it to come back. Many users have pointed this out.2. Call volume is lesser than music volume. You will have to increase the volume when you get a call and reduce when you end the call and goes back to music.3. Cord that connects the device to USB/AUX is too long. Though this gives you the flexibility to place the device far from your music system, I don't think that is required. You will have to coil it and place it somewhere.4. No battery - if engine goes OFF during the call, then the voice will get disconnected.5. Product cost is high compared to many others similar product. Though the quality is good, I think it can be priced little lesser.Overall, I liked the product especially for the voice quality.DISCLAIMER: I Have not used any other bluetooth hands-free other than Tantra Fluke.

Still it is working fine. Sturdy product.
