DO NOT BUY THIS DVD SET!!!! IT WASN'T MADE WITH AVRIL'S APPROVAL OR INVOLVEMENT. ONE DISC IS A COLLECTION OF INTERVIEWS AND THE SECOND DISC I DON'T KNOW I DIDN'T WATCH IT. I LOST THE PACKING SLIP SO I'M STUCK WITH THESE WORTHLESS DVD'S!!!! DO YOURSELF A FAVOR AND DON'T BUY THIS PRODUCT. IT'S NOT WORTH THE MONEY THESE PEOPLE ARE CHARGING FOR IT!!!! FROM NOW ON I WILL TAKE THE TIME TO READ THE PRODUCT DESCRIPTIONS MORE CAREFULLY!!!!!!!!!!

Save your money unless you are an Avil Addict
Save your money, this is a 2 DVD set, one is "Skater Girl" that has been out for a while and tells her story, but no Avril music and little Avril. The other is a compilation of videos of interviews she has done, even with the new husband, undoubtedly available on line for free, on TV/Radio/Cable.

I can't wait for this...
I love Avril Lavigne, always have, since she released her first album and single. Her vocals on each of her songs are just... amazing, and I need this. I don't care if it's a DVD or any kind of collector's box. I need it.

I've never heard of reviews for something no one's seen yet. However...
So now we review stuff that's not even out yet? I love Avril, but Man Man. How do I rate my need for this set? It's absurd. But, I do need this. I will have it, sooner or later.

What happened to her?
After ten years, it's no longer a compliment for your talent to be called "raw". I think her original fans would all like to see her talent a little more cooked by this time.

Definitely worth buying!!
Definitely worth getting! I enjoyed both DVDs immensely. Although the first DVD WALK UNAFRAID only features others talking about Avril and none of her music the content is very interesting from the people contributing and tells the story of her amazing talent and fully deserved meteoric rise too fame. |There are stills of her and the background music although not by her is in keeping with the story.The second DVD IN HER OWN WORDS is great because instead of the usual grainy snippets you actually get really long interviews with the lady herself. These show her from the beginning of her rise to stardom to pretty much up to date 2012 and even has Chad in one interview after they became an item. Avril's sense of fun certainly excels in the last quirky one!! It's a shame that she is wearing shades in a couple of the interviews as her eyes are so lovely. Full marks for this box set anyway. By the way I have tried to research her DVDs and noted the content and comments on Amazon so this appears to be the score: GIRLTALK and SKATER BOI DVDS seem to be the same - and it looks like the content on these is the same as the content on WALK UNAFRAID. And her Seoul Korea August 11 2004 concert is on the TRY TO SHUT ME UP DVD. Hope this is helpful.

Die Collection war nicht was ich erwartet hatte. Sehr viele langweilige Interviews mit Bekannten und Freunden aus ihrem Leben. Nicht empfehlenswert!
