Incredible Brightness and Great for Country Living!
The Sofirn SC33 tactical rechargeable flashlight is absolutely amazing! With 5200 lumens, I can see all the way across my field when walking to my car in the morning. Living in the country, I’m always mindful of skunks, coyotes, deer, and other wildlife, and this flashlight gives me complete peace of mind. The functionality is excellent, and it’s very versatile—multiple modes let me adjust brightness depending on the situation. On the highest setting, it does get a bit warm, but you’re never likely to use it at full blast for long, so it’s not an issue. The durability is fantastic; it feels solid and built to last. I love that it’s rechargeable, which saves money on batteries and makes it easy to keep ready to go. The size is compact enough to fit in my purse, which is convenient, though compared to my dad’s Sofirn SC32, this one is a bit larger than I personally need—but the brightness is the same, so it’s a trade-off I can handle. It’s definitely on the pricier side, but completely worth it. My boyfriend is always trying to “borrow” it because it’s that impressive. Highly recommend for anyone needing a bright, reliable, and versatile flashlight!

Great for the price.
So far this is a great medium size light with a built in usb type C charging port. The light has good thow and is very bright in turbo mode. It uses a single 21700 (included) 5000mah battery and feels substantial and solid in the hand. The UI is relatively straightforward and the auto lock can be disabled. It has a sturdy feeling pocket clip (tip down) that is screwed into the body of the light with three small screws. It also has a small status indicator light on the side that turns on when the light is on. Would personally liked to have seen it used as an aux light while the light is off. But Overall for the "sale" price of around $40 - $45 with discounts the sc33 is an excellent light with a serviceable ui and so far seems to be fairly robust. I wouldn't consider a good edc pocket size/weight for most but as a glovebox, kitchen drawer, nightstand, etc light it's pretty much perfect. The e-switch on the light has a short travel and makes a satisfying click each time you press it I much prefer it over some other lights with rubber capped switches. Since mine didn't come with any instructions and I didn't find a complete manual online I've complied some observations from using the light below. While Locked: Click and hold to temporarily (while button is depressed) turn on in low mode Single quick click will double flash (bright) to indicate that the light is locked out Double click will unlock but leave auto lock enabled Tripple click will unlock but leave auto lock enabled Quad click will unlock and disable auto lock Unlocked -- Off: Click and hold to turn on in low/moon mode Single click to turn on at last brightness level except turbo Double click to go to turbo brightness Triple click for strobe Quad click to manually enable lockout mode While on: Click and hold to step/ramp up or down (depending on ramp mode) Single click to power off Double click to turbo Triple click to strobe Quad click to change ramping mode

Solid option
The Sofirn SC33 is a standout performer in the budget high-output flashlight category. It delivers impressive brightness, a well-thought-out UI, reliable charging, and solid build quality—all for a very competitive price. If you’re seeking a dependable, bright general-purpose or tactical EDC light and don’t mind a bit more heft, it’s a great choice. Just be sure to familiarize yourself with the UI nuances, and remember that actual lumens may be lower than the “5200 lm” spec.

Slight flaw, won’t turn off
For the price, it’s a great and fairly compact light and super bright. More of a flood over a spot light compared to my BSS. I do like the upgraded version where the auto lock can be enabled or disabled depending on your choice. Upon receiving my new toy, I read the instructions before and during operating the light and going over all the different features. It worked flawlessly. As I continued playing with the light, it suddenly froze on and would not respond whatsoever to the tail clicks. I had to twist open the light, to disconnect the battery, to reset it and then it worked well again. Believing it was a manufacturing defect and not wanting any future issues, I returned it in exchange for another. As I received the replacement the same thing happened. Playing with the light and going through the various modes repeatedly may cause this to happen. Is it a deal breaker? Not really. Untwisting the body will correct it. Should this happen? Probably not. As long as it’s not a frequent occurrence and your life doesn’t depend on a need to cycle through your light often and rapidly.

Sofirn sc33 super bright flashlight
This is my third Sofirn light and I have become a huge fan of the brand. I love how simple the operation is. Two clicks to full power. Three to strobe. Hold to go between brightness. So simple, easy and consistent. This is by far the largest and brightest flashlight I own. It isn't a thrower, but a very wide extremely bright flood light. The tail switch is easier than a side switch to find, works with a nice click, and is a good fit in the hand. That size becomes a positive when you need to run it at full power for more than a few minutes as the back stays nice and cool while the front gets quite toasty and would make a great hand warmer in the winter. My other Sofirn have proven to be very durable, surviving many drops onto concrete, into water, engine oil, you name it and never miss a beat. In the week ive had this one It hasn’t missed a beat and with the long runtime of the larger 21700 battery has quickly become my favorite night shift light.

The on/off procedure is like entering a combination
Providing you can get it turned on. The on/off procedure is like entering a combination. 1-3 clicks of the button. I can never remember which one it is. It is very confusing and a bit aggravating When the light does turn on then it is very bright and works well size of the flashlight is good
