Rather disappointed to receive unit with a long 8cm scratch and a dent on the side of the front grill. The packaging and carton was undamaged so must have been packed in the damaged condition. Factory error or unscrupulous return? The automated customer service told me that a replacement was unavailable, but finally managed to get thru to an Amazon rep who handled the matter brilliantly. Notwithstanding the front grill, the unit performs well. It is relatively heavy at 313g indicating larger magnet speakers and provides a much richer sound than some more expensive units and connects to Bluetooth without crackling . Actual size is 180 x 63 x 43mm Pity about the unsightly damage to the grill. Though it will no doubt get scratched and dented eventually, it is unacceptable for a new product and certainly not fit to be given as a gift. Can't yet comment on battery life since waiting for a replacement to arrive. The replacement arrived very quickly. No damage. Works fine, so have upgraded rating to 5 stars. In the meantime, prised off the grill of the old unit and attach photo, clearly showing the passive base radiator in the middle which enhances the bass response to below 100Hz. For an inexpensive diminutive unit, the sound quality is impressive. The lithium battery is 18600 which should have at least 3000mAH which will make it last at least twice as long as AA size lithium battery which is typical for portable speakers at this price. All Bluetooth audio suffer from problem of interference from nearby network and bluetooth signals, so re-pairing with host device maybe required to prevent stuttering and crackling. Wifi network channel may also need to be changed. This product is not waterproof. It is watertight on the top only, so maybe showerproof. It does also function as an FM radio using the charging cable as an antenna but without a display showing channels, rather impractical to use. It does appear to contain a microphone as well so can be used for phone calls but again the buttons are not marked clearly enough for ease of use as a phone extension. Built quality is a little hit and miss as demonstrated by my first dented and scratched unit. The rain shield screen between the metal grill and speakers may also be badly fitted (creased or folded over) so QA reflects the low price.

Excellent value for the money. Nit exactly High Fidelity but good enough if say on holiday etc . About 10 years ago I bought a bluetooth speaker for about £35 and its about the same sound quality at a fraction of the cost . FM seems to work OK as well .

Good quality sound for the price of it, doesn't go that loud as for me I use it with my phone so only goes as loud as that goes. Battery lasts a while, like that it's light and small great for use when in the garden. Straight forward to set it up.

Sound quality is not bad for the money, it's not tinny but it's not too bassy either, its something you'd happy have on in the background. It has a good range of features, has a good battery life on its build in battery on a full charge, can also be powered from USB source (charger/power supply not supplied), it can play from Bluetooth, has an aux 3.5mm jack or you can load up a mini sd card with mp3's and it will play (SD card not supplied).

It's okay, it works and it's £10. There's not much bass but it sounds fine for back ground noise, podcasts and audio books . I wasn't disappointed at £10.

Its sound quality is inferior. Not recommended to buy, as it's a waste of money.

Really good

This is a fantastic little speaker. Long battery life, good sound quality. It’s much better quality than I was expecting to get at this price. Really happy!
