Q: Where can I get additional thread for this kit?

I love these kits because they list the DNC thread color number for each thread. DNC embroidery thread is readily available at most craft stores (like Michael’s), specialty embroidery stores if you are lucky enough to have one nearby, or on Amazon.

Q: What size embroidery loop would this need?

I used a 6 inch just to make it but the swing itself was too big. I would say an 8. I framed the one I made on a hard sticky board and a regular rectangle wooden frame.
