This salve seems to be working for what I bought it for, in just a day the boil (or ingrown hair?) is noticeable smaller. It hasn’t come to a head yet so that I can switch to different skincare, but this product has made an impressive different after just one day and two applications. It’s true, the smell is not great, but it’s not terrible. Well it IS kinda terrible but what I mean is it’s tolerable- if you need this product its smell should be the least if your concerns, you’re not going to be using this often, it’s a remedy. What I find a little more difficult to deal with is application because this stuff is very very thick and hard to spread. You’ll scoop some out with a clean finger, it takes a little digging in to get it because it’s like a thick paste with a little brown sugar scrub type texture, and gently wiping it over the affected area will leave a lot of the product on your finger until you figure out how to kind to work it on, pressing gently, then spreading it on and learning when to stop for maximum coverage and staying. It’s kind of hard to work with in certain areas. Wouldn’t be as much of an issue on a hand or forearm for example. I’m impressed with the pain relief, it definitely soothed and relieved and it does seem like it will bring the issue to a head and draw it out within a few days which is decent. I’ve had similar infected skin bumps that stayed longer even with an antibiotic ointment, which does nothing to draw anything out. I’ll definitely be keeping some of this on hand. Seems like it will draw out the issue with use a couple of times per day, in 2-3 days. I had never heard of it before but this was recommended to me by several people so it must be as good as it seems. edit- Leaving my original review above unedited but changing from 4 to 5 stars and adding this: this stuff works! In 2 days what I needed to be drawn out was, and I was then able to heal the skin without infection. I am definitely keeping this product on hand! And the smell for anyone wondering, is sort of like tar.

I’ve had a really good experience with Hyland’s PRID Drawing Salve. It works well for minor skin irritations, splinters, and small bumps. After applying it, I noticed it helped reduce discomfort and seemed to bring everything to the surface faster. The texture is thick but easy to apply, and a little goes a long way. I also like that it stays in place and doesn’t melt or run too much. It’s definitely something I like to keep on hand as part of a basic first aid kit. Pros: • Helps relieve irritation and discomfort • Effective for splinters and minor skin issues • Easy to apply and stays in place • A small amount lasts a long time • Useful addition to a home first aid kit Cons: • Strong smell that may not be for everyone • Sticky texture • Takes some time to fully work Overall: A reliable and useful product for minor skin concerns. It’s simple, effective, and worth having at home for quick relief when needed.

Okay so I'm not a dermatologist so take what I say with a grain of salt. Also, I am only writing this because it saved my face so I hope I can help someone else out there. I sometimes get AWFUL blind pimples. I call them blind pimples because to be a true cyst, the cyst sack has to be removed or else it will come back. With that being said I get nasty, blind pimples that are inflamed, hurt, no head ever, etc. And this stuff is amazing. I put it on at night. I used one of those big hydrocolloid bandages to make sure it doesnt leak everywhere. I had this nasty bump for days and sometimes the micropatches work and sometimes I am left for weeks with this thing. I used it for a few days and *chef's kiss* it healed just fine and no scarring. I still used a micropatch during the day just so I wouldn't touch it but I also was using them for at least 1-2 weeks with no help. Try it :) the worst that could happen is nothing. And it says it will dry out your skin? Like flaky... my skin is veryyyyy sensitivity and combo skin and it didnt hurt mine any so test it on your skin with your own free will. Stay blessed ♡ ✝️

This product works wonders in assisting with bringing cysts to a head and allowing it to rupture, while lessening the pain. My constant complain is that sometimes the container is very hard to open.

This stuff works on things you just wouldn’t imagine it’d help! I had a very tender spot on my foot. I couldn’t see anything, but it was starting to hurt the entire ball of my foot. I dr’d it every way I knew how it just wasn’t feeling any better and it was right where I’d step. One night I slathered some of this on and put a bandaid over it. The next morning, my foot felt immensely better and what I can only describe as an almost invisible piece of fiber glass, from who knows where, had fully emerged! I really didn’t expect this to help that situation at all, because I couldn’t see or feel anything that would be a problem! The PRID found it though!
