Perfect present for a Thomas lover. Hours of fun. Really well made toy. I like that it has an educational value too. Battery seems to last a while. Annoying its batteries though and not rechargeable.

My toddler could sit and watch this all day long. Loves building the track and setting thomas on. Thomas can get stuck when moving between the pieces at times but a little tap soon fixes it.

Lovely gift for 2 year old boy

Bought this as a Christmas gift for my nephew when he was 2, and it's been a hit ever since — he still plays with it now, 2 years later. Build quality is really good; there's some wear on it now, but that's fair to expect from a couple of years of rough play from a toddler, not a reflection of poor quality.Worth noting it's more of a "with help" toy at that younger age — he couldn't set it up on his own to begin with, though he's able to now as he's got older. So great for growing with a child from toddler age onward, but don't expect full independent play right away.One thing to flag: it's not compatible with other train sets, like wooden Thomas tracks, as this one uses its own style of track. Worth knowing if you're hoping to combine it with an existing collection.Still, in terms of durability and lasting play value, it's held up brilliantly.

Ordered this product as a gift for my nephew. Discovered that it is completely false advertising. The images and product description says that it is a floor puzzle that forms a track-way for the engine. In reality, what my nephew got was a pack with regular track pieces that form an oval track with an engine and an overhead-signal piece that lights up.Not half as engaging as advertised. Just a regular Thomas engine with track pieces.
