Dockers Men's Straight Fit Signature Iron Free Khaki with Stain Defender Pants (Regular and Big & Tall)

Dockers really got it right this time. Too bad permanent press creased pants are so rare now, but these are great. I'm old school, and at work, with the dress shirt and tie, these help with the nice sharp look my job requires... "chinos" just don't do it. Easy one-button close, no need to hassle with the 3-way combination that most dress pants put you through. These are true to size, I'm 6'2", got the 36" X 34" length, perfect fit. The material is substantial, not too thin, not too thick. Also, with these, Dockers finally got rid of that irritating little square pocket inside the right front pocket, the one nobody could ever figure out what it was for (except may Dockers).

First things first, the item arrived with a huge stain on upper left thigh, and thus returned. You can obviously scratch the "stain defender" feature off the list for these pants. I did not opt for a replacement because it would ship from the same place, and you can only lose confidence once. I went to a store and bought the very same model though. Luckily, I had a discount and it was cheaper.This color is distinctive, and it looks better than in photos. The color is true to the description: British khaki.Straight fit is something between slim and classic. It falls directly into the smart casual dress code. Go for a slim fit if you like a more casual and sporty style. I don't think the classic fit has much use. After all, these are not dress pants. Go for a classic fit if you want to look and feel 20 years older.I like the permanent crease and iron-free features. These features make it easier to dress up the pants, while the flat front and fitted style make it easier to dress down.The flexible waistband is a classic feature of Docker's pants and stretch fabric provides a comfortable range of motion. The material is not soft to the touch, but it is not thick to give discomfort to the wearer either. These are medium weight pants, so you can wear them almost all year around.I can't say these are the best pants I own, but I think everyone needs workhorse pants in their wardrobe like this one.Final verdict: Good style and fit, decent quality material, nice features, versatile enough to meet daily needs. You can buy if it is in your price range.

After years of denial, my husband finally admitted that the size pants he'd been wearing for decades were just too tight and too long. So I ordered several new pairs on Amazon to test for proper fit. This pair arrived first and when he tried it on, he was so pleased to be able to easily close the waist band and have just a tiny bit of of excess length. They not only fit well, but looked nice, too. The new British khaki fabric is medium weight, and he wouldn't have minded a heavier weight with winter approaching, but is quite satisfied overall. The next two pair arrived the following day and we both like the colors of the latest arrivals (beautiful black, dark pebble) even better. Now we have a huge stack of men's pants to donate to charity so somebody or more likely several somebodies will get a good deal. And my husband is happy now that he is comfortable once again.

Good quality, very comfortable fit

Waist is slightly tight with my standard size, but flexes just fine. Everything else about them is perfect.
