Sony PS2 Console (PS2)

The Playstation 2 arrived very quickly (one to 4 days earlier than the estimated delivery date) and was packed really well. Talking about at least 30 yards of bubblewrap here - as someone suffering from anxiety I appreciate this free stress relief very much.I was supplied with a console, scart cable, a power cable, an original Playstation 2 controller and even a memory card. All of these, including the console itself, are in perfect working order and surprisingly clean. I found minimal loose dust in the fan and expansion slot, but that's to be expected and was easily cleaned.There's not much else that needs saying. If it wasn't for a minimal scratch on the front of the console you'd swear it was brand new. I'm absolutely happy with my purchase and would absolutely recommend this seller.

The PS2 I received was not in the best of conditions; The box I received it in was falling apart and was barely able to support the weight of the PS2 anymore, the video port on the back is worn so bad the connector just sits on the contacts instead of being held tightly in, and also initially the video produced had enormous motion-blur on the entire scene making the whole experience like an acid trip.These were all minor issues however, the box I threw away, the video connector is fine if you don't touch it and the video blur went away after about 10 hours of play-time.Now, to anyone who doesn't know all this, it's a great performing console in great condition.

The controller didn't work, luckily I had one from a previous console. The console was dirty and had dust within the device. This is disappointing and misleading considering the quality was classed as "very good". I was expecting better. Little care was taken in the product, someone who cares about doing a good job would test everything before allowing it to be sent to a buyer and would take the time to clean the product. Packaging was rushed and undesirable, when I collected the package it was wrapped in a bin bag and looked suspicious. If it ticked i'd probably think its a bomb :). The PS2 works but I'm disappointed with the quality and care taken.

So happy buying this, been years since I had a PS2 and having the old fat model brings back tons of awesome memories.It arrived days before the estimated time, so obviously happy about that, it was in such good condition I could easily mistake it for brand new.Controller working perfectly. Only strange thing was I was for some reason supplied with a power cable for the Slim line PS2 and not the one I purchased. Personally I can over-look it as I already had the correct cable, but other may not.But overall I'm very happy with this buy, Would buy from again.

First of all, for the money it's a real bargain. The PS2 is a few years old now but the games for it are still playable and I decided to purchase one. It arrived promptly and well packed. The machine was somewhat dusty as if it had just come off someone's shelf but that is expected. The console itself works fine but the controller did not and I had to buy a new one. Perhaps this should be checked as well. I've looked through other people's reviews to find this has happened before. For this reason I've given four stars.

After well over a decade, the Playstation 2 (PS2) is still an outstanding console by today's standards. I can confirm, as will anyone, that the PS2 has become just as legendary as it's predecessor, the original Playstation, as well as the current-gen Playstation 3.
