Works great and easy to use!😀👊
Ordered a $35 one and it did not work very well. This one works great. We have been able to reduce our EMF culprits in our home by turning off or relocating.

very small, sensitive detector
Update: This meter has already helped me... I decided to take it in my car and see what the levels were in different areas. Well, as soon as I turned the ignition on, the meter cranked up to 3 V/m and stayed there! Yikes... That's the 2nd highest level! At first I though it might have something to do with the ignition system, but then I remembered... the car has Bluetooth, doesn't it? So I made my way though a deep maze of menus and finally was able to completely turn off Bluetooth. No more RF! I had assumed that if I didn't have a phone paired that the Bluetooth would be inactive, and I never even use it anymore so I kind of forgot about it. But I was wrong...The effect was noticeable. Before, I always got a vague mental fog / irritation / funk when in the car. I didn't know why. But after turning off Bluetooth, I don't get that feeling anymore. So if you have Bluetooth in your car and don't use / need it, make sure you completely deactivate it or it will be bathing you and any passengers in strong RF the whole time you're in your car!---------I'm new to this, but from what I could find out the Acoustimeter is one of the most sensitive RF meters, and the Acousticom has the same circuitry and sensor just in a smaller package (about the size of a deck of cards) and showing only instantaneous V/m which should be fine for general use and finding problems. It also detects up to 8GHz which is important for detecting some newer sources. So that's why I chose it. It doesn't tell you a bunch of extra stuff, just what it is seeing that instant, which should be enough for finding problems. The most 'eye-opening' thing is when you turn on the sound... Even when the RF isn't enough to trigger the first LED (.01 V/m), you hear all sorts of microwave RF. You realize you are being showered in this constantly. Then when you get near a stronger source, the sound level turns up menacingly and the LEDs go into the yellow and red zone. Definitely makes the invisible visible in an striking way.Seller Naljor Creations had a low price and really fast handling and (standard) shipping. I ordered, they shipped it out the same day, and it got here 2 days later. Just wanted to give them a recommendation.

A Bad Idea Gone Good
I bought this based solely on a You Tube video review - a very, very bad idea because for all I knew the reviewer could have been paid by the manufacturer. And at the time there were no reviews on Amazon. As it turned out, though, it proved to be a very, very good idea. The Acousticom2 is one of the few products I've ever encountered which is literally ready to go right out of the box (actually, a cloth case, not a box). I simply turned it on and it immediately began recording the RF readings in my home. Let me add that I bought this for one reason only: Smart Meters. I live in a Condo, and just on the other side of my bedroom wall is a Meter Board which, as of a month ago, holds twelve Smart Meters. I had visions of being inundated in RF waves as I slept. The Acousticom2 records a range of waves (given in V/m) from 00.01 to 6.00. These ranges have corresponding colored lights - green is the lowest, then yellow, then amber, then red is the highest. As it turned out, the readings right at my bedroom wall was in the yellow and amber range - which is listed as too high for people sensitive to RF waves. The one caveat was that I really had no point of reference against which to gauge the readings I was getting. However, when I turned on my Microwave Oven, the Acousticom2 shot right up to the very highest level - and stayed at that level until I was about ten feet away from the Microwave Oven. So that will have to suffice as my point of reference. All in all, this was a worthwhile purchase. It eased my concern over the twelve Smart Meters just a few feet from my pillow; but it's given me, in exchange, a much greater concern over using the Microwave Oven. (An electric Toaster Oven, by the way, doesn't cause any change in the reading from normal room readings.) Maybe I'll go easy on the TV Dinners, or else cook them in the oven instead of the Microwave.

Do not waste money
This device does not detect "hot spots". I could not detect the hot spots as indicated in the description. I wouldn't spend my money on the device. I gave it 3 stars because it measures the amount of RF but it doesn't detect anything. Obviously, we are surrounded by RF but this device will not help if your trying to shield.

The most important purchase I've made in years!
What an eye-opener. I thought that by keeping my iPhone 2' away from me I was safe - wrong! It emits a dangerous signal for about 8'. The cordless phone base station was almost 120 times the safe level, and with the microwave running there was no safe place in the whole house. We'd bought a ceramic and stainless coffee pot to keep from ingesting plastic in our coffee, and were running the microwave 11 minutes every morning to heat water for our healthy coffee. My husband was using an air card for his internet, and I'd bought him a 10' USB extension cord thinking that was surely safe, wrong again. We now have hardwired Ethernet for our internet connections. Comcast recently "added a feature" to everyone's service, enabling Wi-Fi in all of its Wi-Fi capable modems. If you missed the email and thought you had gotten rid of the Wi-Fi in your house, it's there, 24x7. Without a meter like this there is no way to check when new things are added or "turned on" remotely (Comcast Wi-Fi), or when a "smart" meter is installed on your house. I wish I'd had this 15 years ago.Now that my husband and I have been "cell-free" for a couple of weeks, it's amazing how aware of Wi-Fi we are when we're out. We had to leave an office supply store the other day, as we were both having trouble thinking from the extremely strong RF in the store. The seller was extremely helpful when I had a few questions. I would give this product 10 stars if I could.
