Pyrex Prepware 3-Piece Glass Mixing Bowl Set

Love these Pyrex bowls, I have been searching for ages to find bowls with a small rim so handy when lifting.

Exactly what I wanted, it's easy to clean, can go in the freezer or microwave.

These glass Pyrex bowls are absolutely beautiful. They're durable and thick, as all Pyrex bowls are, and the wisps of blue surrounded by transparency is very attractive. I'm very happy with these bowls, especially because they have lids. When I'm working on making a supplement, I have to stop in between sometimes, and a secure cover is absolutely necessary. The two sizes are perfect for my use. As an artist, the design on these bowls takes my breath away. They are perfectly Instagram-worthy! I just finished making an Anti-Inflammatory Supplement using Organic Curcumin Extract, Organic Ashwagandha Extract, and Organic Ginger Powder. It does amazing things for my mom's arthritis. I highlyn highly recommend these bowls. They're a bit pricey, but I don't regret getting them. I think you'll love them too!

Excellent, versatile set. Use it for mixing, marinating, proofing dough, even serving! The slanted sides make it easier for whisking if you have big hands. Glass is preferred if you are marinating in an acidic solution. Make pasta dough and let it rest in the same bowl (saves cleanup of your countertop). Stackable to save space, and easy to clean. Use them to serve salads (green, pasta, potato) for summer picnics. Even guac, salsa, etc.

I debated for a long time, but I love glass and I love being able to store them in the fridge with a lid that matches. I can't stand when people put food in the fridge without covering it. (Especially you have roommates and and you don't know what is going bad in there!) Now that I have these, I use them to store leftovers all the time. I also use them for what they are named for. The smaller sizes are also perfect for keeping on the counter with chopped up veggies to put in to the bigger bowl/pot/pan. I make guacamole every other week and the 2.5 quart is a perfect size for mixing, mashing, and then storing away. The Good: 1. They clean very well and I usually wash them in the top rack of the dishwasher. If they held something for a while and got crusty, then I usually just give them a light scrub and then pop them in the dishwasher. This was one of the main reasons why I got them in glass. 2. They are also very sturdy. I don't feel wary of dropping them and don't feel worried when they hit other items in the sink. Of course, since they are glass, you would never want to drop them. However, Pyrex is known to be a good brand in terms of durability! 3. The lids fit very tightly over the top and storing these three are very easy and 4. don't take up too much space because you can fit them all in the biggest bowl in order of size. The Bad: I can't think of anything negative to say about them! (I've had these for a while now, and was waiting to write up a review so I could give a more accurate and honest opinion.)
