Our cat ignored catnip previously, so I after reading that some catnip ignoring cats like this, I got a box.Currently we have 3 cats. All 3 tried to somehow pour it to their ears and laid face to the dish with powder. The one that didn't like catnip then spent some 10-15 minutes rolling from side to side belly up. Second cat had identical reaction, but he does more such flops anyway. Third sniffed a lot and sneezed a bit, but also didn't push away.So, 3 cats out of 3 like it. I think that's a win.

My cats went CRAZY over the tiny little packet of silvervine powder that came with an inclined cat scratcher we bought from Way Basics. Since the company wasn't selling it separately at the time, I bought another brand (in a jar), assuming it would all be about the same. Well, it isn't. My cats couldn't have cared less when I excitedly opened the jar and started putting it on their toy mice and "fish tacos". We have NINE cats, and only one of them showed some mild interest. It was pretty sad.I recently found that this brand was finally available for purchase, and wasted no time buying a box. Again, my cats were all over this stuff! I love the individual packets, so it stays fresh. Comparing this to the one in the jar:This one is a darker orange/brown in color, and is very, very finely ground...like a super-velvety powder, whereas the one in the jar is lighter in color and you can see tiny pieces where it isn't as finely ground (as seen in photo). Also, it doesn't take as much with this one. I have to carefully and slowly tap a tiny amount onto one spot on a toy, then lightly rub it in. With the other brand, I can rub it ALL OVER the toy and it still has no affect.This silvervine is totally worth buying. It's more concentrated, comes in packets to keep the silvervine fresh, and will more than likely get the reactions you want to see from your cat(s).

have used other catnips which my cat has not been much interested in; got this as part of the waybasics cat scratcher and he loved it so much that I ordered this catnip separately now. He coos and purrs around the area we sprinkle it on, makes it obvious that he is happy..

What more to say than our cats love this stuff. I also bought a bottle of supposedly the same substance that gets absolutely no response from our cats. We open these sealed packages accross the room and the cats will immediately awaken and get excited. They love this stuff. Don't hesitate. Your kitties will love you for it. But be prepared for some craziness. The cats react much more aggressively to this product than 'regular' catnip. We will buy this again without question.
