This is by far the best edge control I have ever used. It provides a strong, long-lasting hold without flaking or leaving buildup, and it keeps my edges sleek and smooth throughout the day. It was everything it described it to be except for it not turning white,but all I did was added a little water with it and it was all good after that!

Great lasting hold and while I won’t say it quickly or totally made edges grow, I will say that after 5 months of so of ONLY using this edge control on teen’s hair when she decides to use one, her edges have grown in noticeably after falling out due to braids and the products used often by braiders etc. so I won’t go back to even buying a different brand as long as this formula remains as is!

Great hold on 4c hair, but still had the white residue after a few days. Smell is not strong, good amount of product for price

I will be buying it again lays the natural hair really well may need to use a little water as instructed. Overall best edge control I ever use and I sleep and it does not move or irritate my forehead or skin. Great product, and does not have a strong smell. I think it makes my edges look thicker.

I’ve been using the Bask & Lather Strong Hold Gel and I’m honestly impressed. The hold is very strong and it keeps my edges laid all day without making my hair feel greasy. I also like that a little product goes a long way, so you don’t need to use much.

So I wanna love Bask & Lather but it’s not consistent and idk why. When I first got the product for like the first 2 and a half weeks my edges were LAID TO TBE GODS. I mean perfect. Long lasting, no flaking, no white/red residue, water proof, sweat proof. I mean absolutely Chefs Kiss and with little to no effort. But then I got my hair re-done and my hair dresser uses a lot of mouse and gels and oils so usually product is dripping down for the first week or so. This was when I learned it doesn’t mix well with other products but I’m still like that’s cool that’s understandable. I wash my hair and edges and brushes and no matter what I could not get the same hold I was previously getting consistently. One day it’s frizzy and lifted then next day it’s LAID, water proof, sweat proof, even lasted through a 12 hour work shift. I even reached out to the company via instagram and they gave me some tips but nothing I do is working consistently. Clean edges, damp edges (because it’s water activated), clean brush, misting spray, washed hair. Nothing is working. I don’t put my brush in the product only my finger. I store it in a regular temp environment. It’s sealed tight after use every time. I don’t know if it’s me. If my scalp chemistry changed or if the product got older and the hold wore out but it’s the best product ever when all the stars are aligned and it’s a greasy gross crunchy mess when they are not. I recommend it, just know it has its days. Also I have 4C hair and you see how swooped those swoops are. No edge control even comes close to Bask & Lather on it’s good days

Don't waste your money buying this edge control.It leaves a horrible white cast and does not lay your edges at all.Very disappointed!!!
