This is an expected side effect of the surgery. I started this treatment line and in my opinion the product is working. I will add that the product will work best if you: eat protein, drink adequate water, have a functioning thyroid and most interestingly make a habit of massaging your scalp with your fingertips to get the blood circulating in your scalp. If you simply bought this product you may not have as much success as I have had because I regarded this thinning hair solution holistically. TBH I am repeating what my hairdresser said. I was not eating enough protein, etc. After one month my hair is NOT growing back (it will not for a year) but it is not shedding the way it was. The shedding is much more normal, like you brush your hair and some is in the brush versus my hair coming out by handfuls. I also suggest getting some sort of hair topper. They are really good these days. Get one with "remy" hair, I have a brand called halo. They have all kinds of toppers, extensions. I follow the keyword on instagram and am wowed at how natural the hair toppers are these days. That's my two cents. I will continue to buy this product, it is worth the money to me.

I have been using it for more than 3 months. I can tell my hair is getting stronger. I love this product a lot! I put it on every night before I dry my hair. The smell is good. I think this is a must-have item for a long-haired lady.

i bought this for scalp treatment. as a scalp treatment, to be honest, i don't really know if it works. it smells good and feels nice as i massage my scalps. i hope it gives me a good result for healthy scalp and hair.

I have been using this product for several years now. It works as claims. Has a pleasant (barely dtectable ) smell. Please stop raising thr price though please for the love of God.

I enjoy this product as it adds fullness and body to my hair and is not a pomade or a hairspray and does not weigh it down or make it stiff.

I bought this product two times over a 90 day period and didn't have any luck on my end. Product smells horrible and was a complete waste of money. It is my opinion that most Aveda products are way overpriced but I decided to give this one a try. I actually blame Amazon on this just as much since it was purchased during or around prime day and the return policy indicated that it was returnable at that point in time. I don't know if this changed after prime and there is no way to identify buyers from that time period but that is really irrelevant. For products that aren't straight forward or are sketchy purchases to begin with, you really need to be careful who you purchase from. This is really the first that I feel that Amazon dropped the ball and won't stand behind the products that they sell. Lesson Learned for just jumping on Amazon and buying whatever without thinking about things, etc..

This was for my wife. After using it for a coupleof weeks, no results and her scalp was bit itchy. Had to stop using it.
