Handy UV Torch
A great led light for use with glow in the dark and neon coloured items, stickers and paints. Gives a decent focused beam capable of lighting things at a distance of up to around 12 feet (approx. 3.6m).

Near-UV torch - good enough.
This is a Violet to NEAR-UV torch - thus it produces quite a bit of visible (violet) light.It IS suitable for checking banknotes and for finding DRY organic residues in the dark, phosphors on stamps etc.It WILL ALSO reveal most fluorescent minerals (what I use it for) - and fluorescent fungi/lichens on rocks.It IS NOT an invisible 'black light', it is not a scientific instrument - it doesn't claim to be, and at this price, who really cares?If you want to do scientific work with UV light, then a much more expensive lightsource is called for.

NOT a UV blacklight torch
A nice and very bright LED 'Cree' (Hwa Wys) pocket torch (should be economical on batteries) but this is NOT a UV/ blacklight torch - hence the 1 star.It seems to be a step better than the illustrated torch. Same dimensions. It has an adjustable and powerful magnifying/ diffusing lens.I've used every test I could with UV ink and white shirts: No sign of any special UV. Was after a UV torch to see UV reactive inks, household pet stains, get white shirt highlighting. I'll need to buy another that actually is what it says it is.

Not what I ordered.
Wasnt a uv torch - just zn ordinary white light torch. Not worth the effort of ordering - could have bought szmething at locsl garage. Have niw had go go elsewhere and buy the uv torch I originally wanted.

UV Ultra Violet Torch
I was curious about this Item tried it after i washed a pillow with blood on it couldn't see any stain but it showed up with UV Torch never tried it on banknotes worth the money

THIS PRODUCT IS NOT UV BLACKLIGHT.
This torch IS NOT UV BLACK LIGHT. I own a Lenser p7.2 which Is a very good quality pocket torch so I've no use for this at all. I wanted a cheap UV one to use on rare occasions which is why I ordered this one. This is just a cheap white led torch.
