Kodak Carousel 4 Pc Repair Kit, Link & Gears - KODAK-KIT by Unknown

Q: will this work on 760h model?

I'm confused because there's no such thing as an "Ektachrome" projector. There is a Kodak "Ektagraphic" projector but that does not use "steel parts"; it uses the same plastic parts as the Carousel models. The parts in this Kit will work in the Carousel 760H but some "mechanical aptitude" and skill is required to install & adjust as noted by responses from Duane & Paul Ricks. A repair/refurbishing alternative can be found on ebay by checking the Carousel MAIL-IN Repair Service offering from seller "atomk".

Q: Will this kit work on a series 4600?

The only models listed on the repair guides are the 600, 700, 800 & AE, AF, B & E. The 4600 is not listed.

Q: Does this kit work for the Ektagraphic AF-2?

The solenoid link and rivet will definitely work for the Ektagraphic series projectors. It has been so long since I have worked on the AF-2 model that I can't remember exactly whether the focus gears are the same. On the Carousel projectors the gear shaft is to large to get into the white gear so I drill it out with a 3/16" drill and then file it slightly larger to accept the gear shaft.

Q: installed kit and now auto focus does not work, put on all parts.

The repair failed for me (plastic). I ended up buying an Ectachrome slide projector with metal parts. That worked well.
