Do these tags have any gloss to them? I’m using distress ink and it cannot have any gloss at all

Yes there is a slight gloss to them. However when I use a felt tip fine point the surface does not smear.

Picture did not look like it came with string but the description implies it came with strings. Does it comes with string or thick thread?
