Behrens Infinity Replacement Lid for 20-Gallon Trash Can

This fits and was a good price, BUT it took 15 days after they told me it was shipped to get delivered. Way too long in this day and age. I was supposed to get it a few days ago, but they then notified me it had been delayed and could take up to another 6 days! At least it was only half that. I was almost convinced someone was actually walking it across the country to me it was taking so long. The return label says it was from Yarmouth Port, MA and I'm in Tucson, AZ, but for it to take that long is ridiculous.

This lid was the perfect replacement for the one that came with our pail that rusted and the handle fell off. We use a pail to collect dog poo in our backyard, so a lid is an absolute must until it’s time to toss the bag into the trash. The lid has held up well so far and seems like it will continue to hold up for a long time. We live in the PNW, so rust is expected eventually, but time will tell how much life we get out of this thing.

This item is not as pictured and described in the specs. The product photo and video clearly show a lid with handle; product specs also show “Durable Handle”. This lid does not in fact have a handle, instead it has a lip all the way around. While this benefits the manufacturer as this is very clearly cheaper to produce (and definitely has a cheap feel to it) it makes the lid practically unusable for one handed operation. It is impossible to open the can with one hand while holding something in the other. In addition it’s pretty audacious to charge as much for this cheap lid as for the entire can already including it. Obviously I was willing to pay it for the lid with handle, most definitely not with it for the junk I received.

The lid is well made, but as other reviews said, mine did not come with a handle?? I’ve gotten it to work fine without it but I can definitely see how this would cause great frustration.

I use their metal cans for storing horse feed and birdseed. These metal cans are corrosion resistant and so far rodent-proof. I was able to buy the can-with-lid at my local home store, but I had to order the replacement lids directly. They are identical to the original lid. PROS Cheaper than replacing the whole can-with-lid when a lid gets badly bent or lost Fits and looks identical to original CONS Only wish it was available locally. It's not cheap and when you add in shipping, you need to weigh in on if it's worth not just buying a whole new can-with-lid set.

Didn't realize when I ordered that the can I needed lid for was same make. When it came and I put it on it was a perfect fit and that's when I realized it was same name brand as can. Have 2 more Behren cans so will order for those now that I know the fit is right. That's not to say it won't work on other brands.

This item is advertised with a handle - which I wanted. However, it arrived with no handle. I contacted Amazon and they sent a replacement. The replacement came with no handle. I contacted the manufacturer and was advised that they no longer make a lid with a handle as it was letting in moisture. Thus the handle has been removed. Also, without the handle the lid does not lock. Amazon, please remove the picture with the handle and replace it with the correct item. Thank you.

I ordered this for my Solo Stove and expected it to have a handle on the lid, as pictured... I needed one asap so I kept it anyway. Works great on the solo stove when you want to close it up when it still has small embers burning.
