Bought this for my Windows 98 computer, works just fine
Needed a mouse with a serial port because I'm living in the past, got this and it works pretty darn well -- haven't had any issues. The keyboard from the same company is a bit hit-or-miss as far as when it wants to work, but the mouse has been working beautifully.

Works with docking station that has PS/2 ports
Didn't want to use a valuable USB port for a mouse or keyboard. Docking station supports a number of older DELL laptops, and as such had PS/2 ports for mouse and keyboard. Works well for me.

It works, but even with an old computer it isn't great.
Good PS/2 mice are unfortunately becoming harder to find, even though they still have their uses. For that I'll give it some leniency, and I don't think it would be fair to compare this against fancy modern mice, so I'm looking at it like a low-end included-peripherals office mouse. Even for one of those, it isn't too good. The clicks don't feel very nice to press, they are kind of floppy. The scroll wheel doesn't feel definitive, and is also wobbly. Tracking looks fine, not super precise but at least there are no stutters. The connector was incorrectly rotated when it was inserted into the plastic mold. The key pin does not line up with the marking on the shell. It is considerably offset, which makes inserting the plug without looking difficult, and risks damaging the pins if you go to plug it in expecting it to be the way it has been designed for many years. I'll consider that a manufacturing mistake, so am not taking points off for it other than for quality-control. Compared to another 1000DPI PS/2 Optical I have that is positioned in the same class, this one falls short. Will it work as a pointing device? Yes. Have I used worse USB mice? Also yes.
