My kids look forward to every one of these books and they are always sad when the book is over, dying for me to read the next in the series. Mary Pope Osbourne is a brilliant storyteller, weaving science and history into her stories in a manner which is intriguing and educational to children (and probably we adults who enjoy the books with our children). Coupled with the Fact Tracker companion books, these books turn into a wonderful unit study on each topic. And, ensuring the books are available digitally for use on an e-reader is another brilliant move by the author and desertcart. Review: Simple, fun and educational - My son loves these books! He’s 7.5 years old. It’s simple enough to keep his attention span and he really enjoys learning about weather, as well as history. Definitely recommend

Was a gift for my niece who recently started reading them…. I looked through before I gave it to her and it brought back so many memories! Great writing, still interested me even now that im 28…. Was my favorite author as a kid, and still is! Love these books.

WE LOVE THE MAGICAL TREE HOUSES
My son got interested in the magical tree house series from school. His first grade teacher would read them to the whole class. He asked if we could get them so I agreed. We've quickly made our way through the series. We actually have read up to book 41 with him bringing the books home from school. But, I decided that it would be a good thing to have the books at home too. Not only does my 7 year old love reading them, my 4 year old loves to have them read to her before she goes to bed. Highly recommend for the young reader in the house.

Great Historical Fiction for Grades 1,2 and 3
If you like Little House on the Prairie, you’ll love this book. My granddaughter (6) can’t read this on her own, but I read to her before bed every night and this one was exciting and fun.

Great beginning chapter book
Great book for kids who are just starting chapter books. Nice story, interesting, several nice drawings, easy to read but still helps build vocabulary in young readers. My 2nd grade daughter enjoyed it.

As with all the other titles in the Magic Tree House series, this book did not disappoint. The story, based on the San Francisco was exciting, simply told and very informative.
