PlantronicsMX200 FlexGrip Universal Earbud Headset - 2.5mm & 3.5mm

I bought this for a cordless landline phone. I always talk with a earbud or an over the ear style so I can be hands free. I do not care for the headband type. In general they do not last forever and I was due for a new one. Since cell phones are causing the demise of landlines the earphone/buds are becoming increasingly hard to find. Luckily there are brands like this model that make the plug-in for the cell phone required size of 3.5 mm but go the extra mile to include the 2.5 mm adapter that will fit a cordless landline. I was extremely pleased when I plugged it in for the first time and even the dial tone had great clarity to it. After making my first call I was even more pleased when the person I called sounded totally clear and normal and reported to me that I sounded the same too. I would definitely buy this again. I just hope they keep making it!

A little hard to get on your ear but I'll hopefully get used to it.

This was very helpful - good sound quality, good fit in ear, comfortable, etc. But, then it simply stopped working (people can hear me but I can't hear them) less than three months after purchase. Disappointed to say the least.

A very basic, but very functional and easy to use ear piece.I needed a simple ear piece that was not blue tooth, didn't need charging, easy to use, good sound, and was pretty much something that didn't need an instruction manual.I have many bluetooth headphones, but I needed just a basic earbud that could be worn and sounded good.So, I considered the ones with a boom..but they are bulkier and the boom catches on the pocket of a jacket when stored. And yes, I just wanted something I could put in a jacket pocket, or a pants pocket, pull out and use. Nothing fancy, no bluetooth, and not the end of the world if it gets damaged.This one is perfect. Plugs in and works. No charging and the microphone on the lanyard picks up my voice and every one can hear me without issues.The one caveat is that the on/off button on the earpiece is somewhat easy to hit by mistake when moving around. It will disconnect you. But, a small price to pay.Basic, simple, works, sounds ok, fits in a pocket/ or purse, and is inexpensive..it won't break the bank.I bought two more in case I lose one or they run out of stock.

Cell phones emit non-ionizing electromagnetic radiation. The health risk of this is still debated, though there is some evidence that it can create disease. I choose to play it safe and use this headset whenever I have a call which is longer than a minute or so. It allows me to keep the cell phone a bit further away from my head. Although using speaker mode on the phone does the same thing it is not always appropriate. From what I have read, bluetooth wireless devices emit much less radiation, though still do emit some. Therefore, I put up with the nuisance of occasional cord tangling so I can use my cell phone with a bit more piece of mind. This is a great unit as it fits nicely and comfortable in my ear and has decent audio.

This is the best earbud available! The sound on both sides is really good and I found it for a better price on Amazon than where I had previously ordered. This is a corded ear bud, but the sound is so much better than any bluetooth I have tried. I've actually have several radio interviews with it and they were very clear. It doesn't sound like most bluetooth where it would seem you are speaking from the inside of a tunnel. Also the ear piece is soft and doesn't act like a suction cup to the inside of your ear.

Received this item to replace similar MX200 I have been using for over a year. My old one had only a 2.5mm connector whereas this one has a 3.5mm connector. There is a short 3.5 to 2.5 adapter cable included also. This new one has a Verizon logo which my old one didn't. Problem is that volume is so low to be unusable. Caller says they hear echo & can't really hear me. My old MX200 worked great with good volume for me & caller which is why I opted to get another. This new one just doesn't compare. Being a "fulfillment by Amazon", return was rather painless.
