I have had these pen lights for years now and use them just about every day. They are bright little suckers which is amazing when preforming an assessment. They are small like a regular pen. The top button is easy to use. Switching batteries is simple. Overall value and performance is there. Definitely worth it.

Bought this along wiTh a few other items for my clinical rotation. I was so excited to receive the items, however when I got this item, I unpackaged the two lights and put the batteries in to find out that one is defective. It turns on when the batteries are inserted and the button doesn’t work to shut it off...to turn the light off you have to manually unscrew the battery pack so the connectors are loose. Very inconvenient if you are a nurse and using this product in practice. Tried reaching out to the seller, they were prompt to reply however did not really offer a solution to the defective product nor could I actually understand what they meant in their reply email to me. Disappointed all together with this purchase. I gave it the benefit of the doubt before I left a negative review, to see if the seller would offer any kind of resolution.EDIT: got sent a new set of pen lights, took a while to test them since I was on vacation when they arrived and was not sent batteries with the new set so had to go buy batteries. After not even two weeks of using the new ones, one had the same issue as the original set I purchased...but I actually ended up with two well working pen lights, which is what I paid for, so I’m leaving a 4 star review. The penlights are great when they function properly, they are bright and work well for my nursing needs.

Exactly like the photo! The light is bright and the clip seems really durable. The only thing I’ll say is that you need to buy AA batteries.

My daughter often gets strep throat so I'm constantly looking at the back of her throat. I thought to get a pen light to make things easier but these are not bright enough. I can barely see back there with this. I know some practitioners shine it in eyes to see if the pupils react, especially if someone has had a head injury but this light is so dim that even shining it in a normal person's eyes doesn't cause too much constriction.Overall, I'm not too pleased with the purchase.
