I bought a number of these flat CAT6 cables and colour-coded various locations so it was easy to identify where cables ran. These cables are awesome, why no one thought of flat cables to start with is a mystery. I've bought a number of colours and lengths up to 50m and have not had any issues with the cables at all. They are great value for money too, the 50m cable is less than £25. Would highly recommend these cables. In the future I will not only be buying these for new runs, but also replacing older round cables with the new flat ones. The only issue I've had is the as the cables are shipped coiled up, they have a tendency to try to coil back up again when you unroll them. This does wear off eventually, but you can fix it by putting the cable in warm water for a few minutes. DON'T get the terminals at the end of the cable wet though!

Works fine

I got this as a replacement for an old cable that frayed. Being flat has allowed me to stick to skirting board using double sided tape, so looks much tidier than trailing wire. My son says it works well for his gaming needs.

Bought this to replace my current use of a power line adaptor which was was starting to fail. Instead I ran this cable from the router right through my hallway and lounge, under the carpet and to an alcove where I have a gigabit ethernet switch to supply internet to a number of devices. The intermittent wifi fault has now been completely resolved and we have Firestick TV, DVR, TV and others running via this cable perfectly. Checked my speed at the hub, and at the switch (post-cable) and there's no noticeable loss and everything seems to function well including my sons Xbox and Playstation which also takes a feed from it via a second ethernet switch daisy chained in the system. I chose this one based on the cable type/spec, and the fact it's CAT7, and equally importantly because its flat so ideal for under-carpet installation.

Absolutely excellent and great price

UPDATE: The seller has sent me a replacement cable free of charge and this works perfectly. I noticed a bottleneck in my home network between my PC and other devices. I was confused, because all network devices and connectors should have suitably high bandwidth - from my high-speed router and switch, to the CAT 7 Ethernet cables. After lots of trial and error using iperf3, the culprit turned out to be this wire. I was getting speeds of 100Mbs - when I should be getting something in the region of 1000Mbs - something this wire should easily be capable of providing. I repeated my tests with a different wire and got the expected speeds. Interestingly, I ordered a 5m version of this cable - that works at the advertised speed. Maybe this wire has been mislabeled (it says CAT 7), or maybe it's a manufacturing fault, but given the hoops I've had to jump through to ultimately replace this wire, I can't give this a good review. I'd have preferred it if the wire didn't work at all, it would have saved me some time.

I found this Ethernet cable from a good amount of research for the best Ethernet cable to connect things up to the internet with the best speed. And this does it very good! Honestly cannot complain and will highly recommend, based on a 1GB fibre plan for my internet the picture speaks for itself. Very good for WiFi on a smartphone
