Wasn't Sure at First But I Love This Thing
It's a wee bit smaller than I thought but it turns out that's exactly the right size for either a table top in general, or for an individual or two. So what do I mean by all that? Well it's made of concrete but it looks kind of like marble. It's well done and the finish is really nice and there are two combustion sections. Actually there's one combustion section and a combustion liner. Wait a minute, am I talking about a turbo jet or table top stove? While it does have several parallels to a turbo jet, it is indeed just a little table top stove, but I digress. Anyway, the inner and outer combustion chamber are made of stainless steel and the inner one holds cotton gauze and has a little notch that has the max fill line on it. And this thing just burns alcohol, like rubbing alcohol, super cheap. But it does have to be in the 70% to 90% range. So you stuff the gauze in the inner one, put the inner combustion chamber in the outer combustion chamber, put those inside the cement fire pit, fill to just below the max line, sprinkle the cute little blue glass beads around the top and finally kick the tires and light the fires, preferably with a cool, long reaching, plasma-based electric arc lighter. It burns smoothly and well and lasts a long time, it gives off a decent little amount of heat when it's cool out like it is now especially if it's used in a low overhead area where some of the heat gets trapped. And you can definitely cook over it. It suggests s'mores and marshmallows and the lake, but I made a single helping of Spanish rice and tomatoes in a metal camp cup and it was delicious. And because the fuel was alcohol and not diesel, it's tasted great. Actually the tasting great was mainly due to my superlative cooking skills and my choice of Tajin as a primary seasoning. I love this thing and I would definitely buy it again and I would definitely recommend it to you. 5 Freakin' Stars! ®™

Pleasantly Surprised!
Fast delivery, even when ordering on a Holiday weekend. At first, I thought it was broken. When I picked up the box, I heard a clanking sound (like broken shards). I was pleasantly surprised to find, that the Fire Pit was in a sturdy cardboard box (placed inside an Amazon mailer), with an air pillow wrap around it. It had Bold, Visible Print stamped on two sides - Tabletop Fireplace. I wanted to use this in our small RV (rainy day s'mores). With limited storage space & low lighting, I'll be able to find this box. (The marbly appearance matches the countertops in the camper - another reason I chose this firepit). Normally, I would have to use a marker to label a plain box, as there is no picture of what's inside. That would be the only thing I would change on the packaging - still, 5 stars without it. Inside the Fire Pit box (loose on top) were the simple to follow directions (pamphlet), the bag of glass beads, the round felt, adhesive base pad & the metal flame snuffer. (That was the clanking noise I initially heard). The base was decently heavy & packed in thick, octagon shaped styrofoam (to fit the top & bottom of the burner perfectly). The two metal containers (firewall & fuel cup with fire wick cloth) were inside the base. The placement of the beads is not shown, but there is a thin molded tray around the inside of the base that they go in. I used a teaspoon to get them all in. I followed the directions for use : filled the fuel cup ( to 1/2 inch from the top) - using 91% Isopropyl Alcohol. I lit the flame with a long utility lighter & was Pleasantly Surprised - Again! Beautiful, ambient, clean burning flame (no smut) - that I burned for an hour & a half. There was no excess fuel/alcohol left and the very bottom of the base was Not hot to the touch. (Just in case I placed the firepit on my stovetop). I chose this one based on the reviews I read (they really do matter) & this product doesn't have a bad one so far - I'm happy with it (simple to use/does what it says) - I'm out to buy marshmallows, chocolate & more alcohol (medicinal) - enjoy!

Marble and Heavy!
This indoor fire pit is a great size made of real rock and is super heavy and sturdy! We love the marble around it. It also produces a super clean, smoke and scent free fire! Super easy maintenance too since it burns with isopropyl alcohol. Five stars for sure!

Provides heat
The quality of the concrete fireplace is spot on. Heavy duty for years of use. Authentically pleasing. Very easy to use, cotton in bottom, pour alcohol in it and light. 4 stars only due to the small glass beads that come with it. Spent quite some time with tweezers trying to force all the beads in. Not going to happen! Once a bead is on one side, it pushes the alcohol reservoir so far to the other side, no beads will go in. Love that it came with a scratch free pad which I could adhere to the bottom of the fire pit. I use it in my bedroom at night because my heat pump stays on 65°. 10 x 10 bedroom size, which is now warm when I awake.

Perfect for cold weather
Overview: This is a great little fire pit. Perfect for winter and rainy days. It heats up a 100sq ft area pretty easily and it burns clean enough to cook snacks with.Pros:- Hot: For such a small thing, it heats up a room really nice. Perfect for winter gatherings, or rainy days when you’re still itching for a s’more- Burns cheap and clean: I love that you can use rubbing alcohol. It’s so nice to not have to buy special, expensive oil/gas and have that laying around the house. It uses stuff I have in the bathroom cabinet anyway.- Absorbent wick: The wick is a fire safe sponge that soaks up the alcohol so it won’t spill if it tips over. This is a great safety feature.- Looks nice: the concrete looks very much like white marble. It’s something you can leave out and blend in with any room.- Small: it doesn’t take up a lot of space. It’s easy to store. Perfect size for two people.Cons:- Longer handle for extinguisher: it would’ve been nice to a have a longer handle on the fire extinguisher. It can get hot holding it there and then it falls over. A longer handle would make it so you can reach it from the end of the table or angle it on the top to hold itself up.- Beads fall down: the beads aren’t contained on the top much and fall into the well and get stuck there. If they wedge in there just right, it’s impossible to get the canister out.
