We had a bio ethanol fire/fireplace fitted 18 months ago, so I’m quite as fait with how they work, advantages/disadvantages, precautions etc. So I was confident in assembling this Portable Tabletop Fireplace as soon as it arrived. This was just as well as there were no English instructions! There were some warning stickers on one of the glass panels, which I managed to soak off, but for the main essential instructions I had to resort to an online translator in case I’d missed anything. Assembling the fireplace was simply a matter of sliding the glass panels into the slots and then screwing them in. The container for the fuel is not very big so you will only get an hour or so of fire. This could prove a problem if you’re planning to use it for an evening as you cannot - MUST not - refill it until it is absolutely cold. We already had a good supply of fuel so were able to light it straight away. It has a good, attractive flame, which is protected by the glass if you position the fire against any wind and a tamper is provided. Nice thought! I really love this little fire (I wouldn’t use it indoors, but then that’s personal choice) but I just have to knock one star off for no English instructions. That’s just too important a safety issue to ignore.

It's easy to set up, it looks so nice, easily portable great for camping, also this tabletop firepit is well-made and makes a nice decoration piece. Planning to buy more as a gift for friends as got so many compliments and questions where I got it.
